If you eat a ton of fruit yes it can give you diarrhea, no you shouldn't cut fruit out of your diet completely that's a massive overreaction. Fruit contains a multitude of vitamins and sugars your body needs to function. Overindulging is not the same as moderated consumption.

They do still give fruit to animals at the zoo, some animals are herbivores or frugivores and rely solely on plants and fruits to survive. Some species of bats for example.

A keto diet is only one way to lose weight, but what matters more than a strict diet is a balanced diet and simply keeping a calorie deficit so that your body burns more calories and fat than you intake on the daily.
