I think it’s about metabolism and physical activity tbh.
I eat cheeseburgers and donuts all the time but I never get fat while my boyfriend doesn’t eat any of this stuff and eats white rice and veggies because he gets fat easy.
wbu?

Well like you said, metabolism and exercising. I dated a guy in 2011 that was really skinny, and he practically ate out every day because he couldn't cook. In his case, he had high metabolism.
I follow YouTuber Kristy, who is the girlfriend of Eric the Electric on YouTube. The woman stays fit along with her boyfriend, despite the amount of fast food they eat.

Same goes for BeardMeatsFood guy. He'll eat insane food challenges, but even so he keeps his health in check by exercising.
If anyone consumes food at either a slower rate or around the exact rate that their body burns calories at, they won't gain fat.
My averaged tdee for the past year is 2,270cals. Yesterday I ate 3,500cals. Today I'm only eating 1,000cals (via a psmf). So the fat gain won't stay & I'm technically maintaining even though I had that huuge surplus.
The surplus that I ate wasn't junk food. I was filling my glycogen with crackers & I had like 200g protein & a lot of omega 3's. But the same rules would apply. First & second law of thermodynamics say it best.
Yeah, the metabolism differences are definitely a thing. I can eat a lot (including sweets and chips) and practically never gain weight. A poor colleague of mine balloons just by smelling on food, so to speak.
I think it must be cause they're easily stressed people, people who are stressed a lot are usually very skinny no matter what they eat.
Personally I can't eat any fat as I can't digest it it make me throw up, it don't make me fat I just can't even stomach it my body reject it.
Metabolism and genetics indeed play significant roles in how our bodies process food and manage weight. Some people have a naturally higher metabolic rate, burning calories more efficiently. I remember a friend from culinary school who could devour hearty Italian meals without gaining a pound. It's also true that physical activity can make a big difference, as staying active helps balance calorie intake. 🍔

Fast metabolism.. my sister used to have it and she could eat anything and stay at 100lbs for years. Then she had something happen with her thyroid and took pills to fix it. Now she struggles with her weight because she loves junk food so much.
It has to do with the liver and bile production. The liver is the master controller of your metabolism, while I realize and understand there are other factors that affect metabolism such as your level of fitness and your sugar intake. If you get a fatty liver the liver becomes overwhelmed and rather then ensuring the fat is burned as energy it sends it to the belly area for storage. The liver controls over 500 different functions in the body and needs to be kept healthy.
Genetics, mostly. And metabolism too - before hitting 25 I could eat all the crap I want and not put on a gram, now I have to be careful with fruits and salads as well or I get fat in no time.
Some individuals have a naturally faster metabolism, meaning they burn calories more quickly. This can be influenced by genetics.
My girl has a hight metabolism. She eats a log and gains nothing really. I can eat a big meal and fast for days
because I am quite physical, that's one reason
the second being, that while I do eat some junk food... it is definitely not on a regular basis at all... lol
Aside from what everyone else said, in modern times having a fast metabolism is a blessing. However, in cave men times, those who can hold fat would ensure survival. So, having a fast metabolism then, would be self defeating.
In the old days when people couldn't get enough food, putting on weight easily was a necessity.
@ItsJill the ancient deities, or Satan, just have smiled down on me I guess or smiled up at me 😋😁 I'm always grateful every day and night. Truly 😃
However I am finding its slowly slowly fading now that I'm going on 31 and sitting down a lot for work 🙃👻
Metabolism. I've been skinny all my life and eat semi-big meals. I could eat a whole cake and not gain an ounce. I'm not active either, just the way my body works
I eat a lot of rubbish but I'm afraid my body will pay it back it 10 years lol
Your guesses are correct, diet can figure into it as well.
I believe it's called lock because they have a nice metabolism
Probably, that is food filled with chemicals, I mean chemicals like steroids and hormones.
Yes I am one of the lucky ones.
High metabolism or, in some cases, purging.
Good genetics and working out
They have a fast metabolism
@ItsJill its all about genetics
Probably they track what they eat.
I sure can't.
They are lucky 😅
I don’t know.
