Trending & News Chili should be spicy, but not too spicy. Cleaning the sinuses is good. Burning the throat is not.
I've never had any, nor do I care to ever try it.
I prefer spicy it taste better but it give me tongue swelling so I try to avoid it
I prefer mild. Me & spicy don't get along well.
That depends on the occasion! I enjoy a spicy kick that warms my taste buds and adds excitement to the dish. 🌶️ Once, I had a bowl of chili in a small Mexican town that was so fiery it made my eyes water, but the layers of flavors kept me coming back for more. Mild chili, however, can be comforting and lets the ingredients shine without overpowering heat. Both have their unique appeal.

I think you mean tasty... I prefer it tasty over HOT spicy
When we were on a car trip (years ago), and it was late at night when we pulled into town. The only place still open was a Chili's. We keeled over into a booth, and ordered. The waitress asked if we wanted any "hot sauce". I asked, "Is there ANYthing that has FLAVOR as well as a bit of HEAT?" She replied that she had just the thing. She brought a bottle of Cholula and I've been hooked on it ever since! Moderate heat PLUS FLAVOR!!! Eureka! I tipped her well for that info!!!
@Massageman oh yeah... I think that one has Chile Piquín and Chile de Arbol both... lol
very popular ones
I was so happy when I found that Costco had a two-pack of big bottles for the same cost of small ones at the food stores.
@Massageman Costco is the real deal
I can go up to about 2,000 Scoville units. Maybe a little higher if there is some sour cream to cool off my mouth periodically.
Personally,. I'd like to see Scoville ratings on all "spicy" products - - - - but, I'm not holding my breath.
Pain is not a taste
