I clean them with a bit of soap and a scrubby sponge thing and put them in the dishwasher after use. I sometimes reuse dishes I've put in the dishwasher rather than getting new ones out of the cupboard.

When the dishwasher is full (usually once a week or so), I run it and then put all the dishes away.
