What's a food you hated as a kid, but you love now?

There were a number of foods that I thought I didn't like because when I was child I was given horrible imitations of the real thing:

Mushrooms -- we ate button mushrooms from a can. Bleah.
Blue Cheese -- Kraft blue cheese dressing
Parmesan -- Kraft grated "Parmesan"
Cheddar cheese -- American crap
Cranberry sauce -- Canned

I love all these now, because I am eating the real thing. I sautée fresh mushrooms, I buy real blue cheese or gorgonzola, I get Parmesan cheese from Italy, Cheddar cheese from England, and make cranberry sauce myself.

As a kid, I hated Broccoli. Now I like it.

It's not the broccoli's fault. My mother used to overcook it so that it lost its texture and flavor. Now, when it's cooked properly, it's nice to eat.
