I like okra cooked any way and also pickled. Fried okra is really good, okra and black eyed peas, okra and tomatoes cooked with hot smoked pork sausage and served over rice, boiled okra is good too , just put a little vinegar in the water when you boil it to make it less slimy. Pickled okra is a really good snack. Most okra is Clemson spineless, it will get woody if it gets too big, there is also dwarf okra the plant stays short. The best okra is Louisiana Velvet long pod it can be long and not be woody. it is smooth. If you plant Clemson spineless and Louisiana long pod together the bees will cross them and make a hybrid.

I usually only eat fried Okra. Pretty much Moby Dick food restaurant or Cracker Barrel are about the only places I see fried okra as an option. I don't cook that stuff myself. My mom did though.

What species of okra is it? I've never seen any so long and thin. What about red okra? Have you seen it? I'm gonna include a photo of mine. It has no taste difference, but is so pretty mixed with green okra. Beautiful red okra. Same taste, prettier outside.

I like okra but fried crispy spicy garlic ones. Okra taste even better when they're cooked with potatoes. I would have it often in my tiffin as they were one of my favourites. 🤤

We have several dishes at the restaurant which has okra in it and I have a couple of dishes at home where okra goes in it. I do also know that at home my boys will usually pick the okra out instead of eating it.
