Absolutely! Im a foodie and so is my boyfriend and friends, so we love to try new recipes. We love to experiment with things, and adjust them to what we like. I unfortunately have stomach and digestion issues, so certain foods I can't eat. For instance, I have issues with dairy, oil, and beans and certain vegetables like tomatoes, garlic+onions peppers, and coniferous veggies. So Pasta night is hard for me, but I LOOOOOOVE pasta, so weve been trying coconut milk curry pasta, or butter pasta, or other things that I know I can eat. Its made it a fun experience. I know that through experimentation there is a high chance that Ill get sick, but its a risk Im willing to take :)

Generally I will have meals out and then perhaps attempt to re-create them or maybe try a recipe online or from a book. Got a curry book as a present the other week and working my way through that at the moment 😋😋😋

I'm a lazy cook. I often try different ways of preparing food, sometimes doing things that other people find distasteful.

For example, I make scrambled eggs in a microwave by mixing in a spoonful of mayonnaise. My wife things that's horrible.

I used to, mostly with sauces and flavor profiles. We keep things must simpler now and actually are spending less on food than we did 10 years ago! We now scratch-make all our own salads, sausage, burgers, etc. Eliminated several spices and special seasonings that got seldom used, or for which I found simpler substitutes. I will still delve into something that looks interesting, but much less often than before.
