The only positive thing I can say about this trend is that it’s good marketing , just an extension to the ‘pubs’ and restaurants that have happily catered for dogs over many years but just taken too far , and rather sickening / exploitative. Bound to be taken up by certain hipsters and insta-sheeple


But I’m not a dog owner yet , not until I retire. Hand on heart though I promise that would never be me or anyone in my circles

Friend of mine also has a pet rabbit. I've always had dogs. Whole different experience but I love all animals so I can see it either way.

As hunter I'm accustomed with dogs sitting on the table, god beware they are a dish on the table but in exclusive restaurants I prefer to dine without dogs or cats.

I stayed at a hotel that was across the street from a restaurant called "Jack Russell's". It turns out that the customers had those little dogs with them. Most were tied up to the table leg. Some were barking and growling. The whole place smelled like the inside of a kennel. We left without even ordering.
