Been trying to eat better but here and there omg I be craving chocolate and sweets. How do you all deal with cravings? Maybe I lack vitamins..
7 moI don’t crave sweet things , never have but I do “snack” on the savory items so I will answer in relation to that as my snacking craving has likely been similar to your sweet.
I don’t deny myself snacks , or reward myself with them …these approaches have never worked for me. What has proven to be the most effective mindset for me is that food is just fuel.. I know that sounds really basic but said inwardly over and over as a mantra has been really powerful. The urges in time just fade.
Now it’s it’s just the intravenous drugs left to quit … jk 😜00 Reply

7 moYou taper off. Just say no consistently and it gets easier over time. Train your discipline muscle. It goes for anything in life. The more you do something the easier it will be. The more you indulge in sweets, the more you'll feel the need to have them.
It takes an average of 66 days to break a habit. But it can range anywhere from 18 to 254 days. Try not to eat sweets for the full 254 days and you'll likely not feel any need to have them anymore.00 Reply
7 moYou can train your body to eat healthy. After I got off dieting and went back to eating regularly again, I lost those cravings. My body could only handle so much tgat it was like ehh you’re done. But I came up to coming to a very healthy weight. I’m not sure if you can train your body to only want healthy food if you’re overweight

7 moI always been disgusted by my own needs. So ever since I was like 5 if I wanted candy id bite myself until I bled and ate an Apple. Or I ate candy if it was Saturday but never really cared for it tbh.
I have very very strong self discapline:)

Dealing with sweet cravings can be a delicious adventure. Personally, I love to indulge in a small piece of dark chocolate, as it's rich and satisfying but not overly sweet. Another trick is to enjoy fruits like berries or a juicy apple. They have natural sugars and offer a refreshing burst of sweetness. Sometimes, making a healthy version of a dessert, like chia pudding with a drop of honey, can hit the spot. Exploring new flavors can also keep your taste buds entertained, easing those cravings. 🍫🍓

I too have cut back on sugar a lot and struggled with that as well. It helps to eat natural sweet things like grapes and bananas, or having a little bit of honey. It's also been said that eating salad will cancel your sugar cravings, I can say this has actually worked for me sometimes.
00 ReplyWhen i crave sweets i usually substitute them for something healthier, want hot chocolate then get a chocolate flavored protein shake things like that
For salty cravings nuts usually do the trick cause they satisfy the crunch needed from chips or the like00 Reply- 534 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic.
7 moEat dried dates. They are very sweet like candy, but no refined sugar. Fresh fruits are good too. As long as you’re eating natural sugars at natural quantities, you’re not likely to spike your sugar and insulin levels.

THIS is CORRECT. The magic is when you load up on sweet fruits.
822 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. Cravings as we know them are not cravings per se. It's your body's way of asking for something.
For example if you crave chocolate it's because your magnesium is low. Your body knows that chocolate... The real stuff is a good source of magnesium.
You need to balance your macros00 Reply386 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. Very easily , a " never ever " list must involve any form of fast ( it's not food ) and processed sugar , the reason you are struggling is because ' it's what this product is ' = highly addictive and highly dangerous.

7 moI get what i want to eat.
Like of i want go eat a cake, just buy it and eat a bite. Just feel the taste. It’s better to be like that than change it with other goods who will make you starve and think about the cake all the time. Just get a bite.00 Reply
