I eat sandwich most frequently at cafes or restaurants. But I make sandwiches at home on occasion.
I don't like packaged lunch meat. But if I have left over roast chicken or beef from dinner, it makes great sandwiches.
Turkey sandwiches after Thanksgiving are wonderful.
Sometimes my wife makes a bowl of tuna salad or egg salad for sandwiches.
I will sometimes make myself a grilled cheese sandwich or a fried egg sandwich.
And I sometimes make myself a bacon and peanut butter on toast sandwich.
Yes, when I am home for lunch, I often make a sandwich. PB&J, turkey, or ham, usually. Occasionally I'll make a grilled cheese, or if I can get fresh sliced roast beef, I'll eat that, but pre-packaged roast beef is always terrible so I don't get roast beef at home often - I'll occasionally get one at TOGO'S, a Bay Area sandwich chain.
I eat sandwiches at home sometimes… but not the boring bread-meat-cheese-bread kind.
If I’m making one, it’s gonna be a good sandwich lol. Good quality bread… real chicken, turkey, pastrami etc., flavorful cheese, fresh toppings… the whole situation lol.
Usually it’s in the summer when it’s too hot to cook.
It's never too hot to cook. Summer is perfect for grilling. ☺️
@Kingofkings1992 I've never grilled before 😁. But I love to eat some good BBQ…
I do all types of sandwiches at home, I use panini press to make some of them but it’s not something I do it everyday let’s say
The fastest and easiest one would be tuna sandwich and I make deli sandwiches, my favorite one is the one with fried eggs and avocado with sriracha sauce😋
I actually love making sandwiches at home, but I treat them more like mini culinary projects than quick snacks 🥪
Sometimes I do a Japanese-style katsu sando with crunchy pork, soft milk bread, and tangy sauce. Other times an Italian-inspired panino with mozzarella, tomato, basil, and a quick toast in a pan. At home, a “simple” sandwich easily turns into a little flavor adventure for me.

Yes! Never get between a German and his beloved bread! ☝️🍞🥐🥖🥪
Sometimes, yes.
They’re simple, practical, and underrated. Not everything has to be a full production , some days call for something easy but still satisfying.
It’s less about the sandwich, more about keeping life uncomplicated when it can be.
I’m obsessed with my toasts and sandwiches esp with avocado hehe. I get inspired by food art, exploring at coffee shops / restaurants, or media. But still working on this at home with the visual and taste~ 🥲
I love sandwiches but I avoid them because bread usually makes me gain weight. I do not mean a little but, I mean over 8 pounds a month. I eat them on vacation, or when I am out of the house, because it’s hard to find food on the go.
Very seldom. The US diet is breads/carbs for breakfast and sandwiches/breads/carbs for lunch. I've tried to cut all of that out of my diet. I almost never eat lunch. So, no bread / sandwiches.
I like grilled cheese or a meatball or chicken parm sandwich although I rarely make those at home. Well grilled cheese I do but not very often. But if you mean like a deli sandwich then no. If I’m gonna get a sandwich out then it is a hot sandwich
Yes.
Very rarely. We rarely eat bread, let alone actually buy any.
I do eat them at home... and at anywhere else I can get them, yes... yes I do, yes I will...
A cheese sandwich at home is a common midday snack for me.
Both. More away from home though, sandwiches are about convenience for me.
Next sandwich i make for someone else is going to look like your picture. Lol. I really appreciate that 😉
I eat sandwiches almost every day. I had a subway club tonight which cost $12. I also like Bores head sandwiches are real good quality meats.
You're a good man 👍 subway is underappreciated 🚇 🥖
sammiches are nice and simple enough to make and eat anytime, but dont overendulge on white bread, or you'll get fat
Whenever I work a morning shift, I’ll make a sandwich... I work in the restaurant industry and I drink the night before so i force myself to eat or else I start to shake..
Otherwise, I prefer to eat in the evening
Sandwiches are pretty much the only reason i eat bread. I’ve also leaned toward wraps lately. So i’m not even eating sandwiches at home or out.
I do. But rarely:
in my household there are local natives only. They have no idea of what 'bread' actually means.
So my "at home sandwiches" happen when the savages are outside.
When I'm home for lunch, that's usually what I'll have. I go all out though! I'll actually put lettuce and tomato on it.
It was strange how “deluxe” was extra when i went out into the world. I grew up in a cash poor family, but we had a garden. I had lettuce and tomatoes on my sandwiches my whole life. We didn’t eat out because that was expensive. So as a young adult i went out into the world to discover that lettuce and tomato aren’t just extra, they’re kind of expensive! 😂😂😂
I don't buy processed meats for home because they're extremely unhealthy. That's why toasting bread and spreading honey on it is tastier and healthier than a sandwich :)
I follow a low carb diet, so I never eat bread. . . but sometimes I eat breadless sandwiches.
I have grilled cheese with tomato slices all the time when I just want a snack.
Every day at lunch I make a sandwich I don't really see a point in buying a sandwich anywhere when I can make one at home.
Once in a while at home. I'm too picky to eat a sandwich from somewhere else..
Yes.
In fact, my husband & I both ate pastrami sandwiches earlier.
It is an easy quick meal with no washing up. Perfect.
Yes most days cheese 😄 🥪
Or a rare subway treat 🥖
@purplepoppy did you have a sandwich for cupid's day yesterday? Cupid 💘
I love sandwiches. I make patty melts, burgers, phillys, clubs, italian hot beefs, french dips all the time. Must be an American thing?
At weekends both my husband and I will very often have a sandwich at lunchtime.
Classy 🍷🥂
Yes I eat sandwich's for a quick meal at home some days.
Toasted yes if I can't bothered to make a proper meal,,,
I eat them at home, and sometimes takeout from a local sandwich shop. Speaking of sandwiches, why aren't you making me one?
Yes such as a grilled cheese sandwich
yes, sometimes with leftovers
Only if they are made by a woman.
Doesn't everybody do that? I know I do
Sure. Maybe a couple times a week.
