What is a traditional Easter lunch menu, especially with seafood?

The kids aren't going to like James the Foodie s ideas of what food to serve for Easter Sunday lunch. So don't waste your money buying any of what he mentioned.

Our family always had a baked glazed ham for Easter; complete with cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy, potato salad, baked yams with minature marshmallows on top,🍠 green beans, salad 🥗 and several desserts.

Traditionally you aren't supposed to eat meat on good Friday so fish is eaten instead. I suppose what you ate simply reflected what is available locally.

Turbot is very expensive now but it was once abundant and because it prefers to live very close to shore in shallow water easily caught. For a long time it was the traditional Easter fish.
