I do enjoy alcohol, mostly as part of a meal or tasting experience 🍷

My favorites are:
A crisp dry white wine with seafood, especially Sauvignon Blanc.
Negroni or Boulevardier when I feel like something Italian and bittersweet.
Good sake with sushi or tempura, especially junmai daiginjo.
And occasionally a well-made craft beer with street food, like tacos or yakitori 🍻

I generally prefer a good hard cider to beer, but fruit forward beers have gotten better over the years and good ciders are harder to find.
My favorite dessert cocktail is the Old Fashioned, typically with a bitey whiskey like Bulleit Rye. I also like a Bloody Maria from time to time.
I occasionally enjoy a good sipping whiskey too. Woodford Reserve is the best sipping whiskey for the money. It’s great neat or on the rocks.
If i’m in a hard drinking mood, then i go for shots and lately that ends up being a high end tequila. Clase Azul is as good as it gets, but it’s not cheap.

I unfortunately can't for medical reasons. I have mental issues and can literally go completely insane on alcohol and land myself either in the mental hospital (again...) or in jail...
