An ice kingdom is one of the Nordic countries commonly assosiated with Scandanavia those not all within the Scandanavian Pensinusula Proper: Denmark, the Faroese Islands (also Denmark?), Findland, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.


An ice princess is a girl who's spent her formative years (0-14) living and developing her world view amongst the unforgivingly cold landscape of their respective kingdoms. They usually have blonde hair and blue eyes, but there's more variety and diversity among the kingdoms than a typical American might think. Guys like to joke that they're the product of Vikings having had a lot of taste in the women they chose to rape. I wouldn't suggest opening with that on a First Date with one...

Well, of course, every lady is her own individual, but if you're noticing a trend it may relate to the differences in cultures that an American girl and an ice princess experience. The Ice Kingdoms preach a more socialist worldview where egalitarianism is as trendy to them as elitism is to us. We don't neccessarily like to say we're elitists, but we certainly ask for it. Furthermore, We don't care about crappy our school and health care systems are because at least we're entirely free to spend the money we earn the way we like. Neither is better or worse, but they are very different. As such, an ice princess isn't raised to believe a dope watch makes the man and is more used to a guy who is very modest in just about everything. What they aren't used to is the bravado, the loudness, the show-off charismatic guy that is considered more of the ideal here in the states. Yet, this does not mean they respond negativily. A breath of fresh air is always nice just like if you were to go to Denmark you may intiially be confused with the modesty of the girls but then enjoy a girl who prefers a turtleneck to a tank top even when the weather allows for either. What you're seeing is simply how she was raised to be--mild, quiet, a bit passive. Her exterior is as icy as December in Helsinki, but her heart is actually hotter than many American girls.

I've been hearing that a lot of guys on here are jumping on girls from different parts of Scandanavia as only believing in feminism because of where there from and writing off anything they say as a result and, Gentlemen, I'm dissapointed in you. First off, you have constructive, intelligent things to say about the joys of conservative American values and no one writes you off as oh yeah of course he's not pro choice, he's American. Besides this, I know why it concerns you guys that an ice princess is typically so feminist--you think it means they don't like/have/want sex from a strong man and that they'll be emasculating you every step of the way. Wrong, an ice princess is like I said craving an outgoing male since it's not the norm (not always true but more true for the ones currently living in America) and is open to the right man lighting a fire in her igloo. If you're only kind of charismatic compared to other American guys it's likely she'll notice it double which can be good or bad depending on how you play it.
