Girls In This Generation

Some people need to realise that not all girls in this generation are whores. I know that many girls today have a low self-esteem and don't respect themselves, but there are some really good, nice girls out there. I was once told that girls today don't deserve a great nice guy because we will never be loyal and all girls are basically skimpy.

Not all of us are skanks. But there is always that one girl who ruins in for all girls. Guys, don't look at our generation and steer away from us. There are still nice girls out there. We still exist, we're just rare. Don't doubt us either. Give us a chance.

I will never understand why some girls have no respect for themselves. They show themselves off and are lost jumping from guy to guy. I think it's mainly because they want to fit in or have a low self-esteem.

I definitely see where you are going with this and while I don't totally agree with you - I think insecurity could be the basis of a lot of "Skanky" behaviour but there are girls who like to behave a certain racy way and see it as a symbol of feminine power and independence. It is a case of knowing the person before making a judgement call rather than assigning them a "Type" straight away.

The problem is that many women and girls are very affected by what's popular , what the media and the internet show us, in regards to their appearance and behavior. They are very worried about appealing to others and becoming a part of society, that they disregard the principles their family taught them, they stop being themselves.

Not all girls are like that but A LOT are. Also most girls will lie about their past or adamently proclaim "Im not that kind of girl" when they really are. So there's no way to tell the difference between the girls who are like that and those who aren't. Its better to assume the worst and act accordingly rather than be overly optimistic and allow yourself to be disappointed and screwed over.

Well, don't contradict yourself. If it's just the "one" girl ruining it for all girls, then wouldn't they be the rare ones? I get what you're saying, but I think you catch my drift ;)

I used to deserve a nice guy, because I used to not be a whore. Granted, I'm no longer a whore, & I have a wonderful guy. But it doesn't change the fact that I used to be one.

Well said. But the issue is that people tend to work according to their experiences. If a guy keeps meeting girls that were described as you said, he will naturally start thinking that all girls are like this.
