A lot of guys would like to look like dwayne Johnson but can't because of logistics. Dwayne eats 8 meals a day with a total of 5500 calories. In total costing $17, 000 to maintain.
There was a guy in a news article that tried out the rocks diet and he had to save up a lot to afford it for 1 month only and now has to save again.
It's good that you like big muscular guys but don't expect really muscular anywhere near the rock realistically unless they have enough time
All of these men are sexy. Like you I like muscles, but I don't want their body off portion like you mention with the huge top but tiny legs. I like just enough muscle. But muscles may not always be good for you, depending on the type of man your dating, those muscles may look good but they can also be use to give you a black eye, or broken rib. That's the only bad thing I see about muscles. But skinny guys can be sexy too. For me it just depends on the guy.
EVERY one of these men look disgusting. a little muscle can sometimes be attractive, the amount on each of them is not.
as far as your first point, personally hugely muscular men make me feel extremely uncomfortable. I'd distrust them more than any other random, more natural look guy.
Hahaha omg i think i you're my new favorite, loveeee this take!! Ya some girls here are like "i dont like muscles" but, every hot girl IRL seems to sooo i'll keep going to the gym lol Thanks again!
P. s. i don't just go for women--want to clarify that. EVERYTHING in my life has improved from getting involved with fitness. Stress management, energy and vitality, overall personal health, mood balance, self-confidence, self-efficacy, i mean it just makes me happy! So yeah, fitness for life :) I'm amazed people would just rot in front of the TV and fit shame people for "living at the gym" I mean I am at the gym for 12 hours a week, EVERYONE READING THIS can give up 12 hours of tv/video games/gag/texting/time wasting to be fit and healthy. But at the end of the day, I think fit attractive people attract/date fit attractive people. So it's just what your type is and who you go for. Good discusssion! Needs to happen more on gag in my opinion.
Yeah I agree. You don't necessarily have to build muscles and 12 hours a week are a lot for most people, but working out in general can improve your life in so many ways.
@BarbaraP PLUS a solid amount of that 12 hours is spend tanning (come at me haters!) and talking to gym friends. I'd say 9 hours is actually spent lifting, but I like the community so I like talking and meeting new friends. I've met a lot of amazing people!
Luckily, I'm back in SoCal, and my #freelancelife lets me just go lay out in the middle of the day... but, if not, I am headed for the nearest sunbed, pronto. I'm a desert rat, and I get SERIOUS seasonal depression (on top of being manic-depressive, yeeesh) without mah UV rays.
I am also obsessed with all the smells of tanning salons. The way I smell when I come out of one, and also all the smells of the places themselves. Like, if Heaven doesn't smell like a tire shop or an oil basin, then, it must smell like the back of a tanning salon. <3 Whenever I have a 12+ hour drive to make, I try to hit a tanning place first, just so I can smell mah shoulders THAT many times along the way. Yep, I'm weird. But that's ok, bc I luv myself #narcissismmoment
@redeyemindtricks and consultant: aren't you afraid of skin cancer? I need a tan (Im Viking white... when I take my top off at the beach, the sun puts on sunglasses to cover the glare from me) I'm over it so I've been thinking of those spray on tans, but it makes one look overtly fake.
@consultantisback it's one point where I fully disagree with you: fit doesn't make a man hot. Women go for personality AND looks. Those two have to lock before a man is attractive. Again, i would rather give up my 6 pack (and my deep as hell v lines.., just throwing it out there) to have that personality that attracts women. A thin or chubby guy, within reason, but with THAT personality are the most devastating players I come across. Like extroversion, and like a "yolo" attitude I suppose. That personality also comes into play when I go out, for example, and there are like 20 "tall, jacked and athletic" guys. Now a dude needs to out fuckin play those guys for the girl. The guy with the less attractive personality will still go home empty handed. And I will also say this: guys with a 6 pack are a dime a dozen... there are tons. I am of the opinion that's it one of those "standard" things that a guy must have in today's world (like nice and confidence).
@Scrambledagain well no fuck Sir isaac newton lol jk. Of courrrseee looks AND personality matter. But lemme tell ya, i can make my ego go back down and be humble much quicker than a fatty can get abs you know? yeah, personality is way malleable.
@Scrambledagain Melanotan-2 is yr new best friend. Don't know how easy it is to get in South Africa? Aus? (can't remember which one yr in)... but, with a couple shots of that stuff you'll be primed to get super dark with just a couple visits to a tanning bed, and/or an hour or two of actual sun. Hey, summer's coming up for you.
It protects against skin cancer, too.
And gives you boys extra hardness, on top of it all. Srsly, it's a wonder drug. As long as yr not afraid of giving yrself shots, and aren't an idiot when it comes to mixing up sterile solutions.
Dude, skin cancer doesn't develop only when you burn. I live in Australia and there is a hole in the ozone ha ha, every old person you see here has cancer removals. Just, as a concerned citizen:) be careful. Again: gym is easier than changing your personality and who you are. I wish I could build my personality the way I do gym. Gym to me is the easiest thing to do (it's prepping my food for the week that's a pain;)
@redeyemindtricks hey that's excellent advice! I will definitely investigate that. I am afraid of shots but I'm on a "conquer my fear" mission this year and needles are one of them (I'm a pussy at a doctor). I had my first prostate check last month ha ha and that was funny as hell.
@Scrambledagain I'll... uh... respectfully bow out of the prostate-exam discussion (that is one thing I know absolutely nothing about, thank the Lord). But, if there is any single thing that's worth overcoming needle-phobia for, MT-2 would be that thing. So many upsides (including all of the aforementioned ones, plus appetite suppression for some fortunate individuals), so few downsides. The only downside I've heard of with MT-2 is insulin potentiation -- which is a non-issue for most people, but, if you are SUPER insulin sensitive AND are on a very low carb diet, could pose a slight risk of hypoglycemia. Nothing life-threatening, but, possibly the kind of thing that could be a bit disorienting, could cause hunger/sweats, etc -- but, again, only for that small segment of the population. Aus customs is a mother, though. Dunno if you can get it over there, but it's def worth a shot.
'Muscular guy (boyfriend, friend, etc) comes up and asks if he's bothering you. Other guy disappears (usually grumbling and unhappy) or is stupid and tries to fight the beastly dude you know.'
There is one thing that can beat the big muscular guy though - and that's krav maga ;)
Girls on this site don't like guys like that because they are too lazy and a guy like this probably seems like it's all he does. When in reality, these guys just hit the gym for a half hour a day, eat healthy, and probably take a shot tone of suppliments. If only everyone cared about how good they look and how healthy they are!!!
Sometimes you have to. There are some things that you can get in supplements that you just can't enough enough of to get elsewhere. Be it cost or just unhealthy to do.
When I was natty the only supplementation I used was a multivitamin/ fish oil supplement and an occasional scoop of whey protein post workout.
Real Food > Any supplement. Supplements try to mimic real food but will never be as efficient as real food.
-Pre workout supplements that have a shitload of caffeine and beta alanine are terrible for you and if you nutrition is on point you should never have an issue with energy in the gym.
-Mass Gainer high calorie shakes.. they are probabaly the worst things you can possibly put in your body.. terrible stuff and it will only give you a very watery bloated unaesthetic appeal to your physique. Will also kill your energy since half of the carbs in those shakes are from sugars that should only be taken 30 minutes post workout so it will get converted into glucose instead of fat.
The media tries to sell you all these products and all these guys on ridiculous amount of steroids will tell you that if you take my protein powder you will look like which is absolute bullshit and they are just professional con artist.
The only supplement that will greatly enhance your performance is anabolic steroids. And anabolic steroids have a bad wrap due to the media. I started last year and I get blood work done regularly. I'm healthier than your average 22 year old by a long shot. A lot of people also like to discredit people who take steroids and think it's a magic injection that will make you look like superman but they are forgetting that we are training 3-4 hours a day getting 6-7 meals in a day. You can't take steroids.. sit on your ass all day not train and eat shitty food and look like fitness model. It is just the icing on the cake.. This was me at 19 years old full natty. s8.postimg.org/.../...016_04_07_at_12_20_50_PM.png Sry didn't have full pic
@truthhammer True. I should eat healthier honestly. Thank goodness I'm naturally slim cus damn lol.
@Trenhard_ Yeah at the end of the day supplements aren't to take the place of actual food lol. Real food IS much better. I figure that supplements should just be used when you need a little more of something to reach a certain intake standard. Be it for protein or whatever.
I've never taken anything pre workout. I see people do it, but you're right. It does give a boost, and that shit to me I felt wasn't legit. Like I want it to be all me in the gym and not just the boost from what I took. I've always took supplements after working out.
I use a gainer. I'm a slim guy. I have very little fat. Is that bad or good?
@Joc4Position yahman. i dont look like someone who has high cholesterol as i m fit. but you can't outrun a bad diet they say... i use to eat steaks everynight for dinner and it started there in my opinion.
@truthhammer Lol yeah high cholesterol isn't a good mix. I'm never going to touch HGH just for the mere fact that it will drastically increase your waistline and pop your belly out. I really admire the golden era physiques that resemble a nice V taper. Small tiny waist.. Broad shoulders.. Wide thick chest.. Tree trunk legs.. This amateur is coming up pretty fast right now and I love his physique. I am already much bigger than him but bodybuilding is about size.. it's about the over aesthetic and beauty of a physique. This guy looks incredible..
@Trenhard_ does it do that? my waist already got bigger as everything got a bit bigger? i thought it was deadlifts that did that... and i thought roids give you that belly... sometimes i get the belly from eating constantly and when i miss a meal or fast, it goes back down like a normal person... sometimes i think its food as its the case with me... i get a pot belly forcing it down someties... but i got abs if i miss one meal and its flat lol
yah that was the real shit... if you follow luimarco on youtube, he always talks about the bad direction bodybuilding is head to...
@Trenhard_ I already bought two things of Muscle Milk gainers. I hate to like get rid of them XD. I won't buy that shit anymore though. If I use it with some oats mixed in will it be alright?
@Joc4Position Any fast absorbing whey protein is good. I usually go with a complex because they are cheaper. Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard is usually my choice.
@Joc4Position 30 min/day would be reasonable, if someone had time to go to the gym, like, 6 days a week. Yay early 20's, when yr free time is still abundant and worthless!
For people with actual lives, that's not so reasonable anymore. You'd spend more time in transit to and from the gym than you'd spend at the gym!
Also, there's the nutrition factor. Here, the "early 20's" thing plays a role again. When you are my age, and you want a cut body, YOU CANNOT eat carbohydrates 6 times a week. Hahahah no fucking way dude. The details are different for men vs. women, as they are for different ethnicities, but... yeah, no. At that point, 6 days x 30 min/day just won't work anymore, because you won't be able to spend enough continuous time in a low-carb state BETWEEN the workouts. So, 3 x 1 hr workouts, or even 2 x 1-1.5 hr workouts, wins out. Which, fortunately, tends to fit an adult life better anyway, so everyone wins.
rest of comment still applies -- at my age, the number of times you can get away with eating carbohydrates in a week goes down. also, if you "hit the gym before work", you still have to commute to the gym, which still takes time -- probably at rush hour, if you are unfortunate enough not to work from home.
finally, if you are a boy, then "hit the gym before work" isn't going to work very well, because boy-workouts are counterproductive if you don't eat a decent meal 2-3 hours ahead of the workout.
is it more dominant to have big muscles? Sure. But with the rep most meathead looking guys have following them around for being complete dumbasses i would say this girl speaks for a minority of other girls
"Most" but there are highly intelligent men who are CLOSE to this size. I've dated a few. I'm not saying a man I date HAS to look like this; it's my preference. I've dated men that weren't "as" big as this because they had amazing personalities. I'm just tired of seeing women trash muscular men on this site and decided to make a point.
Sorry, but no she does not. Many many girls have her point of view.
And frankly, "ceteris paribus" (Latin for "other things being equal") between two guys who have the same money, brains, personality, etc., of course she will like the more muscular one.
@Curmudgeon you'd be surprised dude todays young girls are highly intelligent and don't go to the gym just to stare at a man train his body. of course a more fit guy will be sexier but i think it's fair to say tastes have become a lot more complex for both men and women since your day, geezer
Most of your Mytakes are forward. Regardless if I agree with them, majority of them teach me a little something.
There was one about something along the lines of how to pretend not to be a f*ckboy. Didn't agree but I know what to look out for, not deal breakers, but warning signs.
I might not always agree with your my takes or posts/comments. Albeit, they're usually pretty forward and blunt. That'd what makes you admirable.
LOL This is why I *shouldn't* stay up past my bedtime on GaG. **Take 2!**
The impression I get is that you're to the point/straight forward no bullshit. Yet, you also seem pretty chill; sort of like "IGAF". However, you do have sense of humor [[I can't remember what exactly it was or where, but a comment you posted a while back really made me laugh]].
Truthfully, wouldn't be surprised if this was totally off because I don't know you, except what I've seen around GaG. But that's the impression you've given me.
haha maybe you're alright then. and you have strong opinions which are bound to make you unpopular with the masses so I can appreciate that. you have my approval for now :p
Actually, I'd never thought about it that way. That sounds like a really big compliment so I'm going to take it as one. :3 Pretty nice of you to say, thank you.
I honestly wouldn't like my boyfriend being that big in muscle, he would probably crush me to death. He probably could still crush me to death but hopefully not on accident. :D Though he's still extremely strong and around this size in muscle. cms.bbcomcdn.com/.../...-a-cover-model-body_02.jpg
Most girls that say they don't like muscle they're talking about steroid bodybuilders that take it to the limit. The guy in that picture is Gregg Plitt. He's pretty huge lol. Just proportionate.
Yuuuuup! Bout time a girl says this out loud. Strong guys will take care of you and themselves. Though I will say strong is only half that battle. They need to be tough as well
Dairy farmers are probably the some of the toughest people in the world. It's unbelievable how hard they work every day. But yeah crop and beef farmers are lazy pieces of 💩 don't let them fool you
I totally 100% agreee. muscles are incredibly sexy and a guy who is muscular makes me feel so safe and protected no matter what situation I was in that was scary. For me dating a muscular guy is perfect. He has to have a great personality as well but muscles are a must and the more muscular he is then the more he turns me on.
I'm one of those girls who doesn't prefer overly muscular guys. I do like strong looking arms but yeah, I don't fall all over myself over muscles. To each their own.
I can't stop laughing. Muscular men make such an impression on you that you can't remember one of their names LMAO! Most muscular men have rather small – you thought I was gonna say Cocks – nope prefrontal cortex as they are focused on working out not what really counts – brains.
This falls into a personal taste category - You have a type and your logic is totally sound - I wish you all the best if you have a guy like that or all the luck if you are searching for a guy like that - To each their own, diversity makes the world go round.
It should be muscle count/size/whatever + personality (nice guy vs. actually nice vs. player) + intelligence (literally stupid vs. smart). I'm not saying any of the take is wrong, but getting the most muscular guy you see out there could only mean abuse for you.
"Most" but there are highly intelligent men who are CLOSE to this size. I've dated a few. I'm not saying a man I date HAS to look like this; it's my preference.
{{EMPHASIZING}} I've dated men that weren't "as" big as this because they had amazing personalities. I'm just tired of seeing women trash muscular men on this site and decided to make a point.
I love this take. I fully support your preferences.
Now I only hope you'll step in and back me up next time I wax poetic on the epic awesomeness of the 6'+, size 2 women with outrageously blessed leg to torso ratios.
Nice post... Good Job…I'm not that ripped,, but for an old guy I can hold my own... I can still keep up the young bucks... Most guys my age have the Dingy Do disease…. Their bellies stick out more than their Dingy Do…. It is kind of hard to have sex that way…lol Then again who would want to make love to an old fat guy anyway… So listen to this young lady STAY IN SHAPE…
1) I have a big dick and I know how to use it, I could get ripped in a year if I wanted to but having muscles doesn't bother me because of the first part of this sentence ;-)
2) It doesn't make you hard, just strong. A martial artist who is toned may be much smaller and not look as "good" but will totally obliterate the guy with huge biceps if he isn't a trained fighter.
Preaching to the choir... But I'm fat so these super healthy guys aren't into me :( I'm exercising and am on a diet but by the time I'll start looking sexy I'll have lost the guy I'm really into at the moment... His massive arm on the back of my chair...

@Trenhard_ check out big ramy. 350 pounds off season. fucking monster genetics even if he does roids.
@truthhammer Damn :(
@Trenhard_ Alright. Yeah I really need to get on the oats thing. I've heard multiple people (one is a body builder) say it works.
@Joc4Position Yeah it works great. Oats a great carbohydrate staple to add in. Very slowly digested so you won't gain much fat if any eating them.
@Trenhard_ I already bought two things of Muscle Milk gainers. I hate to like get rid of them XD. I won't buy that shit anymore though. If I use it with some oats mixed in will it be alright?
@Joc4Position I mean it's not going to kill you just finish em up. Just not the best choice.
@Trenhard_ Alright. Thanks bro. What's the best protein shake in your opinion?
@Joc4Position Any fast absorbing whey protein is good. I usually go with a complex because they are cheaper. Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard is usually my choice.
@Trenhard_ Okay. I'ma get that after I run out of these gainers.
Can message me if you have any questions brah I like helping people out when it comes to fitness.
EXACTLY OMG!!!
@redeyemindtricks hit the gym before work?
rest of comment still applies -- at my age, the number of times you can get away with eating carbohydrates in a week goes down.
also, if you "hit the gym before work", you still have to commute to the gym, which still takes time -- probably at rush hour, if you are unfortunate enough not to work from home.
finally, if you are a boy, then "hit the gym before work" isn't going to work very well, because boy-workouts are counterproductive if you don't eat a decent meal 2-3 hours ahead of the workout.
personality>power>money>looks
is it more dominant to have big muscles?
That wasn't very nice and I expected better of you Pavlove "Geezer" really?
Everyone has different tastes; let's leave it at that shall we?
did you? nah, here's the format for how people come to view me
oh he has some nice insightful takes
oh he says really prickish things to people for no reason
oh he also writes takes that i vehemently disagree with
to which i say "meh" i'm not a beloved gagger. i've made peace with that
Most of your Mytakes are forward.
I'm likeable due to unpopularity! XD This will be a first; thank you.
yes because you stand for something whether people like it. you're free

Most girls that say they don't like muscle they're talking about steroid bodybuilders that take it to the limit. The guy in that picture is Gregg Plitt. He's pretty huge lol. Just proportionate.
Yea 6'1" at 195 when he's shredded and cuts all the fat. Walks around between 220-230 pounds. Big dude lol
That guy in your pick try to outrun a train and died.
@rjroy3 Guess it's just the angle since he doesn't look that huge like any of the pictures in the take.
@Jose_R That sucks. :(
Yuuuuup! Bout time a girl says this out loud. Strong guys will take care of you and themselves. Though I will say strong is only half that battle. They need to be tough as well
I wish I could up vote this more than once! ^.^
Haha thanks! I'm a dairy farmer, I could show you what tough is all about ;)
Living on a farm is tough? Lol, depends on the type of farm.
Dairy farmers are probably the some of the toughest people in the world. It's unbelievable how hard they work every day. But yeah crop and beef farmers are lazy pieces of 💩 don't let them fool you
Grandparents grew corn and I spent my early childhood on that farm. Lazy? Not at all.
Not lazy, hard working compared to most. But not even close to a dairy farmer. Try growing crops while taking care of cows
Wanted to make sure you know I'm not offended. Lol, I've never been on a dairy farm and not sure I want to, so I will take your word for it. :]
Copy & Paste from 2 other comments:

{{EMPHASIZING}} I've dated men that weren't "as" big as this because they had amazing personalities.

Regarding abuse- Most of the men that I have been with that are this size act tough but are super cuddly teddy bears when we're alone. ;)
I love this take. I fully support your preferences.
Now I only hope you'll step in and back me up next time I wax poetic on the epic awesomeness of the 6'+, size 2 women with outrageously blessed leg to torso ratios.
If that's what you like, then go for it/them. :) To each their own!
Nice take. Disappointing though don't see any of your pics :( Lol
Who are the couple by the way, with blonde (under security) I remember seeing them somewhere.
by the way what about height though, do you prefer muscular and tall, or any muscular guy.
I think they're from tumblr, but I just pulled them off of google.
Preference is taller but I've been interested in shorter before because they were amazing individuals.
Meh can't find it, would appreciate if you can post the links. thanks
Copying it this way so you can actually see the other pics of them if you want.

Go for it girl. Muscular guys are the best. 😀
@Lynda_The_Devil yeah they are... He's vanished though :( and the bastard took his arms with him
Find another with even more muscle mass. 😏
@Lynda_The_Devil that actually made me giggle out loud xxxx I will I promise 💕
I'm glad I made you laugh.
