1. They are shallow

They would only go out with you because of your looks. They don't care so much about your personality. If you're very pretty, they would go out with you even though you don't have a high school degree and have a bad personality.

2. You will never tell if he's using you for sex

A lot of guys are good liars and they will say anything to get sex. They will brag to their friends about having sex with you. To guys, sex is a game and the winner gets the most sexual partners.

3. Hot guys usually have bad personalities

They don't need to be nice because they use their looks to get what they want. I don't want to put up with someone with a horrible personality. They're not interested in me either because they think they are too hot for me and some of them are not attracted to women.

4. Nice guys usually have unattractive faces

They use their niceness to make up for their unattractiveness. I don't want to have sex with a guy that is not attractive.

5. You will never know if he will cheat on you

I have been cheated on and there are so many stories about guys cheating on their partners. No one bats on eye on cheating men.

6. They will beg you for sex when you don't want it

I don't want to have sex with a guy to sacrifice my needs for his needs. I don't like to be pressured to have sex and I don't care about how high his sex drive is. Martial rape is rape.

7. They will have their eyes on other women as well

Most taken guys fantasize about other women. They think about other women when they masturbate alone and will think about other women when they have sex with you.

8. Men think romance is a chore

Most men don't want romance. They are romantic because they have to be or their partner will leave them. They don't want to be romantic. Romance isn't supposed to be a chore.

9. I don't want to have kids

Most guys want kids and will not date a woman who doesn't want kids. There are stories about guys who left their infertile wives.

10. Men are becoming feminized

There are barely any masculine men left.

1. Everyone is shallow. Women are just as shallow as men.

2. If you can't tell if you are being used you, you are either not very bright or naive.

3 and 4. There is no correlation between looks and personality.

5. That goes for everyone. Also cheater no matter the gender gets crucified by society.

6. Boys pressure women into sex not men. Girls give into boys demands not women. Also most husbands do not rape there wives. There is no reason to view all guys as potential rapists.

7. Most people fantasize about other people whilst in a a relationship. Most people do not fantasize about others during sex.

8. Men just have different idea of what romance is, it does not make them unromantic.

9. No shit, it works both ways. It is rare for anyone leave their partner over infertility considering all the options available these days.

While I agree with some points given. One thing I have to remind you which is why a lot of people are coming off on you: don't grow bitter. Because this is what this myTake is about. Your resentment and bitterness about men. I get it. I understand it and you and how you feel. Because I've been on that route, done that, and I refuse to go back. But there are a few things you have to remember about with every point you made in this myTake.

1. Both men and women are shallow. Because this is the conditioning of the world and society. Mostly due to porn. Others by the bad influences of others, besides sin. With that in mind here is what you need to do: Know who you are as a person. Only then can you ignore and eliminate such people from ever thinking about dating you.

2. Listen. In correlation to #7. If their lusting after you and praising you with flattery about your physical appearance more than your personality. Then they're using you for sex. Premarital sex is about lust and using that person for sexual pleasure. That is just the reality whether anybody agrees with it or not. But sex is a game to both, once again men and women.

3. This here is very contradictory. While you have the right to have your guard up as I do with some guys who anybody would consider attractive, also remember that some guys if not most didn't asked to be aesthetically handsome without having to work for what they already have. To be praised constantly when all they want is somebody to see what's in their heart and who they are as a person behind the 'pretty face'. Think about this before you think all guys who are very handsome are out to get you or use you. And the same applies to #4.

4. Again, very contradictory. And I can see why a lot of people are picking up on you speaking about #1 and #4. You say that men are shallow, but you just proved to everyone that you're equally as shallow. Yes, you should want to date and marry and have sex with somebody YOU find attractive. But don't place the whole spectrum of guys you think are nice because they're not attractive to you. Some guys still haven't reached puberty yet and people change over time. If that person makes you want to vomit being with them, then okay. You don't have to date them. But never make them feel any less worthy of romance than you deserve, especially when you yourself refuse to provide that to them.

5. Here's the thing. If you fear of being cheated on, then don't date them.

7. Again, this goes back about lusting. It is wrong, but society says it's okay, so they will do it. If you don't put your foot down about it, they will never respect you. Men will notice women like we will notice men. The best way to show them up is not doing what they are doing. As I said in the beginning. If their lusting after you or talk mostly about your looks thinking that is the fastest way to get into your pants, and you're not with that, then don't even attempt to go out with them. It's just that simple.

8. Your right. You're absolutely right about this. Most think it is a chore, and this is why they will always lose out with women. Be nice to her. Listen to her. They need to be coached on this more than how to pick up women for sex.

Yes rape is terrible but I noticed in my life that girls with low sex drives is due to the fact sex has always been a chore for them and they never got an orgasm. Tell your partners what you like, it is usually that easy. For example, if you don't like your nipples bit and pinched then say it!

I think once people get in relationships they get comfortable, it happens on both sides of the fence. Because dating is like a job interview, you say things to get the job but once you have it your true colors show

That is the truth, I think girls are pushing for it too. It seems like a point chart or something, too many manly things and they won't date a guy. I have had girls ask me to do things (non cheating) that their man can't like change a car battery, lift heavy things and more. I think society is slowly casting away masculinity and leaving it for a select few and these guys will help the world in times of need making them elite in a sense. Whether it be repairing certain things or defending their country most men will be weak and the strong ones will be super heros in a sense

To give some good advice, peoples perceptions of relationships and the opposite gender tend to be because they focus on only certain types of people. I have had an ex girl friend complain to me that she can't find a good man. When the reason she broke up with me is because she felt like I was doing so much for her that she couldn't keep up aka she is so used to mcdonalds she went somewhere nice and didn't know what to do. Even after the break up I still did nice things for her for a long time like drive her mom to her doctors appointments.
Another friend did the same thing to me, when she had 3 ex boy friends get her enrolled in college, a decent job and took her to see her daughter she gave up custody of to her parents. But she dropped out of college, quit those jobs, still doesn't do anything for her kid and runs back to her boyfriend who has been in a tattoo and piercing apprenticeship for like 5 years now who has 2 felonies, cheats on her and beats her daily.

You've spent your time with the wrong men. For which you are to blame entirely, but it's fine because we all start off badly (very rarely does someone have good experiences with the opposite gender before getting their priorities straight). Our priorities, needs, and wants tune to acceptable things as we experience more.
I'm not here to defend men, I'm here to give you an opinion from a neutral perspective. You may take it as you wish, but one thing I will recommend is to ignore the inappropriate comments you're getting on this take.
