1.A gentleman does not discuss money outside of work hours. If it is unavoidable, he only discusses topics of money with business associates and in private spaces or discreet spaces (never in front of other/unrelated company).
2.Gentlemen keep away from borrowing money. They should be independent to the best of their ability and pay their own way through. If they absolutely must, they never borrow from others less fortunate, friends, family or women. All their debts they repay in a timely and prompt manner to maintain their own standing. Debts that come from family members such as funeral costs of a relative are considered honorable.3. A gentleman should never take advantage of the poor, helpless, ignorant or women is a business dealing.
4. A gentleman highly dislikes discussion of money. It is never a topic of conversation in a social setting. Ever. Neither is religion or politics, unless the only aim is to surely offend someone.
5. Gentlemen never price tag drop: by this I mean talk ceaselessly about the costs of what they purchase, or show off assets in an overly flashy manner.
6. He never criticizes his wife, family or companion in front of others (especially friends and children). Those conversations stay behind closed private doors.
7. He never mentions his partner's specific beauty to others, it is as terrible as discussing her flaws.
8. He does not discuss his private life (and sex) with his mates or in public.
9. He should never smear an ex's name even in a terrible break up (it's private). Smearing another name only leads to tarnishing your own. These are basic PR skills.
10. He never ends up in a woman's house after drinking too much alcohol, or taking advantage of situations where a woman is intoxicated. This only leads to extremely poor decision making.
11. He does not loose control of his temper. This can cover fear, anger, embarrassment, hatred etc. These emotions are not shown in public. Confidence in your unique interests and likes are key to feeling secure enough to weather whatever anyone may throw at you.
12. He never reveals to others what women have trusted him with in private (such as letters, text messages or emails directed only to them).
13. He does not name drop regardless of who he knows or was with. If he does, he is nothing but a clumsy social climber.
14. His manners are an integral part of him and his mantra is to make others as comfortable as possible at all times around him.
15. He treats those serving (waiters, home staff, people of lesser standing) him with equal respect to those around him. Anyone who does otherwise, has not come far from servitude themselves.
