"Women don’t dress up for you"

That's a half-true statement. Women dress to impress and mainly elevate themselves in the sexual market. In order to do this, they have to also compete against other women. Which is why often women say that they check out other women and that they dress to impress other women. But ultimately, they do it for men. That's why if you actually analyze make-up and (sexy) clothing, they are carefully designed to appeal to the MALE psyche, not women.

Also, given you don't have a Teams meeting online at home, the moment you get home, you start to take off your make-up and clothes and get into something more 'comfortable'. So clearly, you're not actually dressing for yourself.

Women often say they dress for themselves, but in reality they are dressing for other people and knowing they are visually appealing to other people will grant them the 'feeling good in own skin' which is needed to boost their confidence.

So no, dear Chelsdope0, you DO dress for men. There are just a few more steps in between there that you failed to mention.

@TruthBringer No, because I’m not going to argue about something that you don’t know. It’s stereotypical to think women dress for you. Then you said that I do lol… nah

@Chelsdope0 It's a general statement. I didn't say that women dress for ME as an individual. So if you think I meant ME as a person, then you're wrong. I'm explaining the actual dynamics that can be explained by biology behind clothing and make-up. Just because you don't like a peace of reality in these dynamics, doesn't mean what I said is incorrect.

You're free to think women don't dress/put makeup on for men. And that men have absolutely nothing to do with it. Doesn't mean you're correct in that thought. It also requires you to explain why women often wear make-up and dress the best they can when they prepare for a date.

Ok so I hate makeup just as much but I don’t agree to be insensitive.
Yes when I see makeup I think of clowns but that doesn’t make a girl a clown for wearing it. And it definitely doesn’t effect how I trust anyone.

Society went downhill when people started caring more about people's feelings than anything else. There's a connection between the lack of self-respect & responsibilities today and society being unable to impose rules. They call it 'shaming' now.

Well duh 😂 But just being that kind of guy doesn't cut it. I am that kind of guy, and I've been single for 7 years. For me, it has nothing to do with the girls not having perfect faces. My own confidence issues due to hair loss at 19 are likely a lot of the problem, but most of it is that the girls I like are already taken (so obviously I won't oursue them). And the others all have behavioral issues/baggage like smoking, addictions, or not being over their exes.

Lmao no, I didn't. The post was about women who use excessive amounts, like to the point that it is just like clown makeup--the girls who are very intentionally trying to deceive guys. Guys are all to familiar with girls trying to scam them like that, and I know you know girls like that. Don't pretend you don't.

No one is talking about girls who wear makeup in general. Women should be free to wear whatever they want as long as they don't misrepresent themselves. I bet you'd be pissed if a guy lied about his penis size or height. Don't play angel's advocate.

You act like I don't know all of that. Men aren't stupid. I'm an artist lmao I can do makeup better than most women can. And why do you keep throwing in straw men? No one is talking about what you are talking about. As I said before, no one is bashing women for wearing makeup. How is that hard to understand? Besides lipstick hides things like chapped lips. And guess what? You can't change your bone structure, but you sure as hell can use contouring, manipulation of shadows (with mascara, eyeliner, etc.) to hide bags, deformities, face fat, and other things to make yourself look like a completely different person. And you know that because you know how makeup works. Quit acting foolish

Except that is exactly what this entire post is about. Calling women who wear make-up clowns, and you perpetuation that by asking where to find the non-clowns...
If you could do make up better than most women you would realize that lipstick doesn't hide chapped lips, if you ever tried to put lipstick on chapped lips you would know that...
It's not like foundation and contour is a secret and it certainly isn't lying unless they say they aren't wearing makeup...

Read the post again. It's not calling all women who wear makeup clowns. You just got defensive like far too many people on the internet do. I will agree that the guy who wrote the post clearly has some bitterness or resentment built up with the way he phrased it. But his point still stands, and you know it does deep down.

And I don't know what magic eyes you have, but I can't see chapped lips at all when women wear makeup. I'd have to stare at them up close to notice, and only creeps are out doing that shit lmao

I didn't say all women... There is a big difference between being defensive and just disagreeing. Actually he really doesn't have a valid point. He can have a preference which is fine, but if he isn't interested in women who wear make up it seems redundent to even bring it up if that isn't what he is into. Just dont date women who wear lot's of make-up, that fine, but there is no need to used demeaning language for those who do.

Wow, it sounds like you are saying that it's okay for men to lie about their height, penis size, wealth, wearing a toupee, heck or even their religion to make themselves look better to girls. That just seems so deceptive and not how a relationship should start. If a girl feels she has to hide her entire face just to date, wouldn't that mean she needs to work on her own health or self-esteem before dating?

Good lord, how do you continue you either not see what I'm explaining to you or make up straw men to throw out just to keep arguing about nonsense? I said nothing about men not being able to tell a woman is wearing makeup. Fucking duh. Not even a moron wouldn't notice. Only a guy who is on drugs wouldn't notice. But you realize no one knows what yoy actually look like while wearing foundation and concealer, right? The more makeup added, the less people know about your actual facial features, and many women are just fine with or without makeup, so it's not a big deal. But some women look rough without makeup but look like models with it on once all the foundation, concealer, contouring, etc. is done. They are literally wearing a mask.

I think you need to flip this all around and take a serious look at yourself and why you are so invested and offended by this. Consider if you went on a date with a man and he looked like Johnny Depp or some other gorgeous male model with makeup on, and then when you had already started dating him, you finally see him with his eyeliner, eyeshadow, foundation, concealer and contouring on, and he looks like Pete Davidson. You can't tell me you won't feel like he deceived you just to get in your pants. Don't promote a double standard.

LOL make up doesn't change bone structure. Also, if it does bother you that much, just dont date women who wear makeup, problem solved.
Also yes, I can tell you that if I chose to date a man that wore make up, I 100% would not feel deceived when he took it off, because make up isn't some magical fairy dust that completely changes your face.

Are you kidding me? The original poster literally showed you several pictures of women where makeup IS SOME MAGICAL FAIRY DUST that magically changes their faces. You have no problem outright lying, do you? You are so dug in that you can't just bow out of an argument you've clearly lost gracefully. Or are you that delusional that you believe what you say?

No one said it changes bone structure, but it doesn't have to if blemishes are covered and face contours and shadows have been manipulated. Nevermind what fake eyelashes and eyeshadow can accomplish.

I always appreciate the effort, though I much rather prefer pretty natural nails. Like I've seen yours and they look very pretty bare. So I much prefer girls who can look pretty without makeup.

Like Dave Chapelle said, it's understandable if a man is confused when he sees a woman wearing a 'whore's uniform' that he think she could be a whore. So with makeup, if you do stuff that makes you look a lot like the really messed up women (Kardashians) doing similar it's not in your favor regardless of what's under the makeup. We're talking about extremes. Not a little lipstick and eye shadow.

Although if your eyebrows look like the golden arches of mcdonald's you're definitely a clown.
