It’s funny how some guys still think girls are dumb.
Like we don’t notice the shady texts, the sudden change in behavior, or the way they start treating us differently when they’re hiding something. They act like they’re secret agents, forgetting we basically have a built-in lie detector, also known as our sixth sense.
Seriously, they think we don’t know?

We always know.
Girls are not stupid. We just choose to believe the best in people, especially the ones we care about. We give chances. We ask questions nicely. We hope they’ll be honest. And when they lie right to our faces with that same fake charm? Oh, we take notes. Mental ones. Emotional ones. And when we’re done, we’re done for real.


But here’s the thing: some guys confuse our silence for cluelessness.

Newsflash, we weren’t fooled. We were watching. Waiting. Giving you the rope you needed… and well, you know the rest.
You thought we were dumb.

Nah. We just loved you enough to ignore what we already knew for a little while.
But don’t mistake kindness for weakness. When a girl’s done being lied to, used, or taken for granted, she doesn’t yell. She doesn’t beg. She just leaves. And when she does, that’s when it hits. Not because she was dumb, but because she finally stopped pretending you were worth the fight.
So next time you think you’re outsmarting her, remember:

She knew.

She always knew.

She just let you believe otherwise.
