If a woman and I make eye contact and she looks shocked and tucks get chin and looks down?

She's married and has kids, so I'm not tempted in the least and I doubt she'd ever go for me. She's not terrible looking or anything, but still, I ain't gonna try anything. I'm just wondering about this.

I didn't know her or anything. I'd just met her in a group setting, and a couple times we happened to make brief eye contact and she looked startled and her eyes widened and she quickly tucked her chin and looked down. What did it mean?

Like I said, I'm not interested in her but I've seen other women do the same thing in the past.

Its hard to answer and I've asked a similar question about men... She may just be shy or socially awkward or she didn't want you to think she was staring at you. I look down all the time whether its a man or a woman and it's because I'm shy.

Well I wasn't checking her out, we just happened to make ever-so-brief eye contact. Not like I was doing anything uncomfortable leering at her.
