so much fuss for an 'old friend' wanting to hang out with you, 'alone'? you sound quite panicky about it.. do you feel attracted to or fancy her? cause that's the only problem i could see there. for her to ask out, it could simply be she wants to see an old friend, nothing tragic or shady. it's usually men seeing sexual opportunities/invites/hints everywhere.. lol.
