Girl tells me over the phone that she can't stop thinking about me, but she does not want to date? Is it a bluff.. ?

Just want other peoples advice before I move on. A friend told me that one of his friends likes me. So I called her and it sounds like she does. So I want to give her a chance but she is really shy. I mean really shy. I myself am somewhat forward about things. First she tells me she will totally date me than. Says she is not ready for a relationship, but keep giving me reasons that she wants me. I want to give this girl a chance because she is young, sweet, cute and shy. Now I think what she told me is a bluff? Have you ever had someone tell you that and show otherwise or have you done that to men you liked?

1. for one she's shy
2. dating means being together in public & doing certain things that a shy person well may be shy of :)
3. She's more comfortable over the phone (which is a good thing else there are those who can't express ever) cause she's not face to face with you at that time
4. You need to take time to ease her out of her shyness at least with you and this is going to take a while :)
5. It's a call that you are going to have to decide on :)

I would ask her out on a date and do it the cute old fashion way where you actually go on a couple of dates to get to know eachother more, she may open up to you more if you guys spend some time together

She's probably scared of getting hurt. She may think you don't want anything serious and that if she says she does you'll cut her loose (as a lot of guys will!).
