Girls, when you pee, does it come out in several streams?

I'm just wondering and interested because recently I was with a friend of mine, and we were in the woods. She squatted to pee, but her pee came out in like two or three different streams, in different directions. Does that tend to happen a lot? I know we guys usually just have the one stream.

Bear with me. There are two flaps that cover the opening of the you know what. Sometimes they stick together in certain areas so the pee just flows out the openings.
