Why do girls act different in person than via text MIXED SIGNALS?

Like when I'm the one who texts her first whether to make plans or whatever which she agrees too or she will tell me if she is busy. We never really had a long texting conversation a few texts she either doesn't text back or I won't based on how she replys. Sometimes if I hit her up to do something she reply fast like instantly other times it's hours later. One she flat out ignored my text. When she is in person she totally different still quiet unless I talk but se will talk back she doesn't treat me like a guy friend or a boyfriend she play tap me, she will lead me somewhere "let's go over here" one time she was with her friends and I kinda walked off a second & when I came back she turned and said she was looking for me. We went to a show together I don't know as date or not and she suggested "let's go together" and then two days before the show she randomly texted me "wanna ride together" I treated it as a date and when I was dropping her off from a dinner a group of went to she told me a friend of hers asked her if me and her are together, I joking said "were not?" And she replied with What? And I said what did u say "just friends?" She didn't really say anything & I can't remember what she said but it's odd and my snapchat stories sometimes the selfies I take she will screenshot them. I don't quiet understand her and if she likes me or not 😓

Firstly, not all girls do this. Don't generalize. Secondly, if she's not making a effort to text you, ignores you on the phone or doesn't seem interested in talking to you when you try to text her, she's probably not very interested. Not saying there's nothing. But it doesn't seem like she's very eager to take things further or to make things work if she's not actually making a effort to communicate on her side. With that said, some people are just bad at texting too. But I know that if I was seriously into a guy, I personally would make effort to always reply and if I can't I'd always say "sorry but busy right now" and will text back later. I'd be too afraid of pissing him off if I don't reply. I would do anything to avoid a crush less. In fact I'm positive other girls feel like this too. If you are into someone you naturally avoid doing things to jeopardize your chances with them.
