No, I think guys care 'too much' about physical appearance. Women do all of the things you mentioned because that's what guys want to see.
It's because the media crams perfection down our throats.
True, but in real life, most men don't reinforce this belief! Its often OTHER girls who reinforce it!

Those are boys, NOT MEN! Most of them don't know WHAT they want form a girl!
but understand, what happens when someone's young shapes them and their self image forever. I was verbally abused a lot as a younger child and still carry feelings of worthlessness because of it. Most of what you believe comes from when you're young. So if boys at a young age are telling girls what they need to be, that's the standard they'll more than likely forever hold themselves to.
People change. Its just SCHOOL. School kids are infamous for being immature, even high schoolers. People change, its a natural part of life. You have to let the past go, and give the future a chance!
but it's easier said then done. You don't know just how many of my friends have come crying to me because of something a guy said about her appearance. My ex made fun of my legs, and he was my ex for gosh's sake. He was the one who's supposed to not care, dating me and all. I dont get how you can say guys dont care about looks when this is my experience
