Girl is online on Facebook chat, but hasn't "seen" message. Is she ignoring me?

Both girl and I are college students. We started dating right before the end of summer. She is back home overseas for the summer so we are essentially in a long-distance for the past 3 months. We've been talking everyday, catching up on each other, sometimes flirting, but the past few days has been weird. She'd reply in short responses, take hours to respond.

I've sent her a FB message saying hi. She's clearly been online, but hasn't "seen" my message. Does this mean she's ignoring me/losing interest?

Same situation here bro! We're also trying a long distance. For the past few days she's been the same way she was with you. She took 20 hours to respond even though she was online but hadn't "seen" my message. Finally was able to have a Skype call and told her in a very friendly way that it wasn't cool. She them told me we would talk more often. Then the same thing happened, waited 20 hours to respond and only something small. I promised myself that if she didn't text me for two days I'd call it off. Today's the day and I have sent her a voice message. She has been on and off multiple times today but hasn't "seen" it. Perhaps she's playing the game again. Little does she know I have no more patience for her games and everything will be over soon. I'm not happy with the situation but I was getting too frustrated with all this. I'm still waiting for the reply. Funny thing is that she is always texting people. That's what bothered me the most sometimes. I'm hoping she fights back once she sees the message. Sometimes she must feel pressured. We really like each other (at least she did until 10 days ago) but we're very different and don't match up well.

I'm just rambling on here. But I think it's best if you just Skype with her and offer her an ultimatum. If she doesn't want to text me back then our relationship is definitely at an end, so an ultimatum will only speed up the process or make her stick with you and make an effort.

I'm wondering something similar about a woman I know. We didn't exactly date, but we're supposedly friends. For a while, she'd respond to me DeviantArt notes in a week or so.

I know she's read one I sent her, but I'd sent her an additional two since that. At the same time, we used to work together and August is the busy season at that business. That still doesn't explain why she hasn't replied since the end of June.

Gonna be optimistic and go with the "busy" theory.

Well, my gal pal is also know to disappear from Internet sites that aren't Facebook for long periods of time.

Half the time I don't even know I'm logged into Facebook until a friend I'm with asks my why I show online. I leave myself signed in, maybe she does this too. Another reasoning could be that you're maybe smothering her with too many messaged? Maybe she's just trying to enjoy herself out there without using the internet? Why not call her in stead? but yes, she could also be ignoring you. I do it sometimes too.

That's what I thought, so I've cut down on sending messages... we haven't talked for 2 days now. Is se not into me anymore?

I'm not sure why she'd go 2 days without contacting you whatsoever. By the sounds of it, unfortunately, she may be having second thoughts about your relationship. This has happened to a friend of mine, they eventually broke up. Chin up, though. :)

My best friend always has her Facebook on but she is not near the computer so that might be the case for you or it be an overseas she might not be getting the message I give it a little time and see what happens
