You shouldn't be people pleasing, you should stick to your principles, find your life purpose as women will come and go in your life, but your values should stay the same.

If you live like this, then you have worth and fulfillment, be someone that women would be afraid to loose not the other way around, as a man you are not afraid to loose a woman as you know you still have options

find your values and your purpose first, then you can focus on getting a girl.

you have to have a sense of nobility about your values, it's impossible to please everyone, so if you chop and change your values all the time, that just shows some that hasn't go direction and relies on other people to go forward in life.

This isn't just about finding a relationship, this is about making your life fulfilled, people can leave you, or betray you or even die on you, but that person standing in the mirror will always be there.

so stay true to yourself, your values and your purpose, as you really do have the potential to be something great

It takes time to really see a person for who they are and see if they really want to be with you asking someone to jump through hoops without being willing to do the same is selfish.

I'm interested in your statement, Asker. How do you know "these days" is different to what it was "back then"? I hear so many statements from guys saying stuff "ohh women are now changed, feminism these days etc". I assume by your age you've only lived and dated in one time period, aka the modern time period (post 2000). So how do you know what it was like back then? And no asking friends etc is not really accurate since it's a comparable to YOUR experience.

My feeling is, this is how the dating game is like. It is one area in life, where women have men by the balls. Always have and always will. We can fast forward 100, 500 years and I doubt things will be different. Guys will always pursue women, and the fact that guys WILL pursue gives women power.

That was more of a metaphor to show how women want to feel wanted, earned, fought for, or whatever else.

Girls are brought up to value relationships with people (friends or otherwise) above all else. That is how they stick together and get by. So from a very young age, you can see girls observing others, reading faces, being overly diplomatic in many situations, and behavior that shows them trying to nurture relationships.

So for a guy to come along, use them for whatever he wants, then leave... it's a bit devastating to girls. Along with this early ability to read people, they also get plenty of practice in creating games for people to show their devotion and seriousness through.

That's a crash course on female behavior and where it comes from in regards to relationships.

Nobody said they couldn't. They're human and it's a human trait to screw people over at times... it's not a gender specific thing.

And you can think it's bollox all you want, it doesn't change that this is how society forms itself. So you can either get frustrated and avoid reality, or you can stand up and deal with it. Personally, I don't know how people can feel comfortable sparing themselves from certain things just for comfort (or frustration, in your case). If you know that you can learn about something in order to better deal with it, why wouldn't you?
