well for one thing we aren't wearing makeup to make sure you like it. and for another 3 products isn't much at all. when I wear makeup to go out (which is more or less the only time I really wear makeup) I wear up to 7 or 8 products and I can think of at least 5 things off the top of my head that other girls wear and I don't. 3 is nothing. it also doesn't alter your appearance enough to really count as a lot of makeup.
actually mascara eyeliner and lipstick are nothing these are the basics so it really isn't makeup... usually makeup is like.. powder- foundation- counselor- eyeshadow- lipstick-lip gloss- lip liner-mascara- eyeliner- blush-contour- face primer -eyeshadow primer and base- bronzer- luminizer- undereye conselor- bb & cc creams- false eyelashes- eyelashes- enhancers and primers... etc.
I don't wear makeup.
I have lots of guy friends and their opinions concerning makeup. Some guys say they can't tell a difference. Some guys say it's like painting a picture on your face, and therefore fake.
Compared to what a lot of women wear that's not even close to a lot. And I can almost guarantee you that the girls who you think are not wearing makeup, are they just do it in a natural way
There's nothing wrong with enhancing your features in my opinion.
Also take into consideration that girls feel pressured to be flawless like models. Do you know how much make up models are wearing what you called makeup is a joke compared to what they're wearing (besides for all the photoshop)

Mate, I have more false-positives in case someone has naturally thick eyelashes than I fail to notice makeup. Except concealer. But hell, even I used concealer once.
You're allowed to have your preferences , I just think you should be a little realistic about it.

Luckily she doesn't because she's lazy to put it on, and she knows that I hate it so she doesn't bother with it for me either, heh.
Why do u care? Aren't people allowed to do whatever they want. I love makeup and wear it proudly, mainly for myself. I certainly wouldn't waste any time worrying about what u or anyone else's opinion was

Just looked this up on the Google, and it seems that mascara, liner, and lip color is generally defined as light makeup.
Heavy makeup appearantly looks like a bunch of drag queens.
These makeup posts are annoying. Some girls wear makeup and some don't, deal with it.

Actually that's not a lot at all, it's not a full face of makeup because there's still foundation, bronzer, blush, eyebrows, eyeshadow, concealer etc some just eyeliner, mascara, and some lipgloss is actually the minimum
Apparently the more I check about how these things work, the more I realize that I might not actually notice foundation, but I really do dislike mascara and lipstick. Basically these three "light makeup" utilities are the ones I dislike the most, the others are fairly neutral although I deem them unnecessary.

No I love putting it on. I can do it differently everyday if I want. It's like painting on your face. Do you get bored putting on clothes everyday?
Well I have 6 identical T-shirts if that helps, clothes aren't optional though. They keep you warm.
Clothes could be optional depending on we're you go. But even if it's not optional that doesn't mean it's not boring
"Boring" for me is fairly undefined. I have 6 completely identical T-shirts so that I don't have to bother figuring out which one I like best, because all of them are the same.
All of the foundations, eyeliners, etc are the same so it's just a matter if putting them on.
Well it could mean that it's not much make-up compared to what they usually wear...

It has nothing to do with hiding, I'm perfectly fine with people seeing me with no make-up at all... I wear it because it's fun to put on, and it makes me feel feminine.
I think a bit of mascara and eyeliner looks good because as said it draws attention to the nice features of a person. Too much however looks shitty, simple as that.
I think if their features are nice, then the attention is drawn to them even without the artificial crap. :p
If it's done tastefully it shouldn't even look like you're wearing make up. I think it okay to use any amount of make up as long as you don't look like you caked it on.
I don't like the way it emphasizes the eyelashes, it doesn't look normal :P
Hey, even if they do look like they caked it on, that's their own choice. They have every right to choose what they want to look like.

Of course. And that's your right. What really gets me though is those people who harass women for wearing makeup because they personally don't like the look. Everyone should have the right to have their personal preference without other people bugging them about it. Whether that be liking wearing lots of makeup or not liking the look of people with lots of makeup on.
@cipher42 I wouldn't tell someone in real life that "hey I hate your makeup and you look like shit", i might say "I don't like makeup. Ever." though.

I do think caked on make up looks tacky, but I'm not going to comment on it to them unless they asked my opinion. I personally love the way mascara opens up the eyes and makes the lashes longer ;)
It's actually not much at all, do you even know how much makeup there is? And it's really none of your business what, and how much makeup a girl wears.
Girls can wear whatever they want their is no drawing of the line most girls who are very skilled in makeup do it for theirselves or fashion tips for other girls.

But most of the time, girls lie and they don't just put three things they put like... 6 or 7...
It seems much easier and more rewarding to just learn to like themselves for who they are, that's what I did haha
