Girls Don't Fart... Do They?

Question

Okay, obviously I know girls fart, but on a question I just posted, a guy made a point to say that the biggest turn off ever is when a girl farts and she shouldn't do it in front of him. I thought it was funny.

So guys, if a girl farts (by accident or no) does it honestly offend you to the point that she is no longer attractive? Or is it not really a big deal as long as she isn't being immature or gross about it?

If you've been with someone for a reasonable amount of time a year + then it's okay to fart around them.
Your relationship is long term and you're going to be with this person for a while.
Why can't you let out normal human bodily functions?

Now if you just start dating someone... it's very gross!
And can be one of the biggest turn offs.
I know the guy would probably be wondering, "Who am I dating? A slob?"
If it's let out by accident it may probably be looked past.
But if you're there farting it up, like you're about to cave in walls, then its unacceptable!!

I dated a guy for 3 years who thought it was disgusting when I farted. He only ever farted in front of me once. It was an accident when we were playing around so we laughed about it. But he would tell me that he doesn't want me to fart in front of him because he was afraid he wouldn't think I was attractive anymore. Of course, I farted around him a few times, kinda impossible not to when you're with someone for that long.

I'm sure that guy wouldn't think its ok if a guy did it just Bc he's a guy. I assumed he meant no one should. Either way I thought it was immature. But if he meant it's only wrong for women then he isn't ready for a rekationship and you shouldn't worry about guys like that , just don't date them.

I like it when a girl trusts me enough to know that I would still think that she is absolutely beautiful even when she has gas and farts. It's dangerous to hold your gas in and painful so I would rather my woman to just let it go! Even if we are cuddling, if she needs to fart she just needs to give me a warning that she had to fart or excuse herself after and I would tell her to just let it rip.

Humans fart! I don't want to date a robot and I actually HATE being lied to or someone acting like they are something they are not. Fart loud and be proud!

People baffle me. You're going to get up close and personal with a vagina during sex (or an asshole, even), you walk around all day breathing in people's dead skin flakes, you open doors and push elevator buttons that people touch after going to the bathroom or blowing their nose, and a FART is the deal breaker?

I usually never fart in front of a girl. Never. Never. So I want the same respect. I know girls do it too. However, if I as a guy feel that I should be respectful and not do it in front of someone then I'd think she should also want to show some respect as well. It's just like if someone is talking to me they wouldn't want me to pay attention to something else would they? That's disrespectful. They'd want me to focus on what they are saying. No one I know seems to mind. For my first fart, I usually give them a heads up. Depending on their reaction, I either run to a corner or fart right next to them. I only run for the girls. Not idea why they always get grossed out when i tell them :( But the guys just laugh and tell me to let it out.

Everybody farts, lol. If my fiance farts in front of me, I really don't care. It shows a level of comfort and acceptance between two people.

Obviously, it would be different if she was constantly squeezing them out on purpose, but the occasional toot is perfectly normal.

no XD i actually find it really funny. i think it has to do with how you were brought up to deal with farts. some get offended some laugh and make fun about it. i like the latter.
i also think it´s kind of a sign that she is comfortable around me if she does it, which is good.
