Girl never gave me a answer?

I asked this girl if she'd like to go to a hockey game. She said she defiantly get back to me on it just had to check with work which I thought was weird since I didn't tell her when the game was. So a day goes by and I hear nothing from her so I tell her the date of the game and say get back to me as soon as possible so I can give other friends a heads-up. Another day goes by still nothing and now I'm just getting annoyed since its a simple yes or no question my real question do I go ahead and ask another friend or wait for her response (this girl is awesome, cool personality, cute as hell, great energy great person to be around that's why I want to bring her) I don't want to ask another friend without knowing if she actually wants to go. But I also don't want to waste my own time cause I found it odd that she check with work without knowing the date of the game, I don't know If she's stalling or figuring it out. Advice would be greatly appreciated if I should just move on and find someone else or ask her and see what happens. I guess I answered my own question haha

Rule#1 don't wait for anyone unless they are fully committed. Don't put your life on pause waiting for her answer.. ask someone else
