So I'm single again and I'm looking to meet a girl to hang out with. It doesn't have to be a one and done but I'm not looking to get serious right away (again) either. I'm also a former professional athlete and I'm still in pretty good shape.

When it comes to dating sites I have always been pretty modest about how I present myself. In fact I'm pretty modest in general... when I'm at the gym I usually where a sweater. On tinder I usually post pics of myself dressed professionally or doing something sporty. I do have shirtless pics (showing my abs) but I've heard from countless women how immature this is... so I avoid posting them. However I'm wondering if is one of those common scenarios where what women say they want and what they REALLY want are not the same. Yes I'm looking to get laid (but I'm also a genuine guy). Would it hurt to show off a bit?

Having shirtless pictures anywhere just makes me laugh and the whole thing is so narcissistic and ridiculous to me, the same with girls who take photos in their bra. It really all depends on what the picture looks like, it's better if you post a picture shirtless where you are at like a pool or even just a picture that was taken well. If it's taken in a poorly lit bathroom or in a dirty mirror, then it looks douchey.

So let me tell you it is all about what you want from a woman. So if woman puts up a pic of her in tight skimpy bikini... yeah, I am going to like that pic. I would definitely want to get with her sexually, but I would think of her as more than a possible good time.

SO if you want a real relationship then shirtless photos is not the way to go. I have heard this so many times from woman, that they pass on dude with shirtless photos, and any pic with guy and a fish. I guess there are a lot of guys that pose for pics with fish they just caught.
