So, from the point of view of a teen girl, we normally equate shirtless pics on social media with fuck boys. Some girls really like them, find the boys hot, but also judge them for the pics. The judgement isn't necessarily that they are desperate but that they are fuck boys, which just means that for many girls that I am around that we might find you attractive, crush on you, but know that we don't want our heart broken so we stay away. If the girls know you, and you aren't actually a fuck boy and have a good personality, then the pictures are just pretty attractive once people get over their connotation.
