Bikinis, except string bikinis, are acceptable; lingerie is not acceptable. The message they are sending in photos in their underwear is "They are f**k material, they are not wife material." Men will assume they have very high body counts.

Lingerie tends to be less concealing, with more sheer options, whereas bikinis are generally opaque and designed not to show-through when wet.

Wearing a bikini in public is socially accepted, while wearing lingerie (bras/panties) in public is typically considered taboo.

However, to a great extent, it depends on the underwear. Some panties and bra covers as well as a bikini, especially if not wet. In that case, the message the photos send are not much different then if wearing a bikini.

Besides admiring their bodies if the pics are any good, I find it kind of sad, that a percentage of young women in each generation feel the need to try to act sultry in photos.

Personally , while I may find the woman objectively attractive , consistently posting pictures semi nude paints a picture in my mind of who they are , and I don’t find that type of woman attractive in an emotional sense , it comes across as a need for validation and sexual attention or just attention in general , and that’s not attractive to me at all.


At the core I look for Trust , Emotional Safety , values , and peace in a woman and those who posts like that dont really project any of those to me
