My ex's friend keeps mentioning my ex?

Me and my ex have a mutual friend called "n" when ever me and n talk she always metions what my ex is getting up to and sort of promts me to give an opnion on the matter at hand. Every time we talk this happens, she is much better friends with my ex then me so is there a reason for this? Also me and my ex have been broken up for almost 2 years now
