Do girls ever play love songs to guys to hint something?

have you ever done this? I think my friend was doing, she never usually asks to play songs just lets me choose, sometimes she will choose but never love songs. But then the other day we were driving in my new car when it was just us two she asked to pick all the songs and picked all love songs... one of the songs she put on was fast car by Tracy Chapman, it seemed relevant to the time so maybe she was trying to hint something? The other songs were similar love songs about a guy and girl and how the guy needs to speak to the girl about something etc..
