My ex sent me a song and it was a really intimate song “Meeting in My Bedroom” by Silk. The songs have sexual lyrics but also romantic ones like when he says “You’re everything that I’ve been searching for that I’ve been searching for, and there’s no need for me to search no more” “You’re my moon and you’re my sun” fast forward to a few days later, he called me and we talked for a long while, it’s like we were back together. At one point he said, that I’m a special girl and how there’s not many like me and that I’m wife material. He claims he just sent the song because he liked. Part of my text asked him if that’s the only reason he sent it, he didn’t answer that part, haha most guys will pick and choose what they want to answer when you say more than one thing.

To add some context, we were together for two months, we met online, but we clicked instantly. I still feel like he’s who I’m going to end up with. He broke it off in November because of distance and then some internal stuff within himself. We had a great relationship, so if we tried again, I believe it could work. We’ve been in frequent contact haha mainly because of me but he’s been initiating the phone calls. We even met up in February and had an amazing time together. He didn’t feel like an ex but like a boyfriend. I love him so much. What do you guys think in terms of how he’s feeling toward me?

He also told me through text when I asked if the comment about me being wife material, special and unlike most girls was what he liked about me, he said that he appreciates it, and that’s it’s many things to like about me but that’s an understatement.

I’ve read so many dating articles about what an ex does when they still like you or want to get back together, and he has quite a few of the signs. So I don't know, like I said it’s a lot of effort to just have sex. Even if he weren’t doing all of what he’s doing I would still do it with him solely because I have feelings for him and the sex is good.
