Girls: What do you mean by "great personality"?

I see a lot of times on here that girls will say "personality is more important than looks", "most important thing is a great personality", etc.

My question is, what exactly do you mean?

Say you think someone has a "bad personality", what would factor into that? Is it because he could be a douche, a jerk, mean, egotistical? Or is it that he's more quiet and is a little shy and thus doesn't have a good personality?

Basically what I'm asking is what makes a "good personality" and a "bad personality".

A great personality to me above everything else is intelligent, funny, clever, interesting and confident without any sense of arrogance...which is very rare where I'm at at the moment, which makes it easier to defien what I woudl call a bad personality by means of observation; for me, a bad personlity would be loud, inconsiderate, arrogant and pompus with a great sense of enitlement and little consideration for the feelings of others- the kind of person, male or female who feels the need to look down upon others in roder to elevate themselves- tahst probably my biggest dislike after beign selfish...and also form me, a guy who looks to others to bolster their self esteem...

I have nothing against shyness, in fact as I said for me, loud peopel who feel the need to assert themselves by showing off etc. a lot are VERY unattractive... I myself am often shy around people who I don't know, and its rare taht I'm instantly comfortable enough around someone to open up to them straight away which can give people the wrong impression, i.e taht I am rude or have no personality- but I've learned that there's nothing wrogn with beign shy its just that shyer people can give off a vibe of aloofness which can be interpreted as snobbery...For me a person's overall attitude is mroe of an indication of their attractiveness than how loud/quiet they are... xxxxxxxxxx

"good personality" is something that we see in a guy that we attract to. Like treating a girl right or their friends. Someone that is more open and make people laugh and knows how to have a good time. We even judge what ur opinions are and what you would do in a situation.

"bad personality" the opposite...
