Why is this girl acting so nonchalant?

I am in a very uncomfortable situation with my crush right now. Its seems that when we talk about each other and about getting in a relationship with each other, she is so nonchalant. Here's an example. I said: Can you be my girlfriend? She said: Whatever, between us I am just going to go with the flow. Here's another example, I told her that I fantisize about her and told her what I fantisize. She said that out of all the people that told her they fantisize about her, I am the only one that has normal fantisies. She said after: "They're cool, I guess." Another one? I asked: did you tell anyone that I have a crush on you? She said: I don't need to, I think anyone could tell. you're easy to read. The back story is that me and her have been staring at each other a lot over a period of a year and so; casually flirting, and we never were friends initially. I finally had the courage to to tell her how i feel, and she said she has mixed feelings. After that she never looked at me in the eye again. We hang out though every day, and or talked on email after; All but twice, I had to be the one who initialized it. She always has someone to talk to other than me when we hang out, and I sort of tag in the conversation. I honestly would never believe that we have so much in common. I started to give her artistic gifts, she was impressed but she is kind of better than me. Eventually, she told me that she liked me too, and then immediately said she didn't but she felt she was going to. Oh yeah, she also says she has a crush on this other guy. Yet, she seem to expect that we are going to be Gf/Bf in the future. Help?

That all sounds very complicated xD that sucks sorry. The way I see it there are 4 reasons why she'd be acting all nonchalant. May not be what you were hoping for but here they are... 1, she probably knows she won't ever like you but really wants to like you because you're such a good person or perfect on paper, that kind of thing, so she isn't rushing it because she's not sure but still makes a bit of an effort. 2, that's just her personality. Chill and go with the flow type of thing. She isn't acting terribly excited because it isn't like her to be enthusiastic but she may be interested in you (not sure on this one because I don't know what she's usually like). 3, she likes your interest in her and the fact that you talk about how much you want her. She likes feeling desirable so she makes you feel like there's a chance so that she can keep you around. 4, she's too nice to just outright reject you so she drops hints like: I have a crush on another guy. I feel like most likely it's a combination of reasons, but some advice? Start moving on because despite her motivations you deserve to have someone who makes their feelings about you clear. Someone who appreciates you more and who doesn't make you question. Relationships should not be this difficult xD especially if they haven't even started yet.
