She was savage for no reason. I admit it was out of the blue the break up but still you'd be asking questions instead of insulting. Her Freind called me later on to bitch at me saying she was crying and for me to say sorry. But she strictly told me to not talk to her again. by the way I realise texting wasn't the smartest idea but she can be intimidating when angry

I think she was just upset and wanted more of a reason, you didn't exactly give her much of an explanation, plus you kept putting a happy looking smiley face which is kind of insulting for the situation.
She cares about you talking to other girls because she wants to know what's going on, if my boyfriend broke up with me I'd want to know if it was because of some other girl. Well I guess I'd want to know and I wouldn't at the same time.
Either way, you hurt her feelings, didn't give much of an explanation, seemed happy about it and answered her question with another question rather than answering properly " 'How many other hoes are u texting now? Take long to Reply,
'Why do you care so much about other girls'"
That's not an answer.
I think that's why she's annoyed/upset as well as the fact you're breaking up with her - It's because of the way you are doing it and the little explanation for it.

Sure I understand some people get angry when broken up with, and texting was definitely the wrong way to do it, but you should never have to walk on eggshells around your partner. I think you dodged a bullet.

She was prolly rude because she wasn't expecting it. Also, you broke up with her via text so that's another reason. Also the emoji with teeth after you said "I don't wanna make you cry" makes it seem as if you weren't sad that you both were breaking up.

She sounds like a psycho with trust issues... but your friend made you do the wrong thing by telling you texting or messaging about this. Next time, say it to someone's face and show them that you genuinely care about them enough to tell them in person, that you don't fear them or hate them and want to stay friends.
I mean come on man, imagine that you're on the receiving end of that after REALLY being attached someone. It's like saying that the person is of such little value to you that you couldn't even be bothered to go over and see them. You just took the easy way out.
She might have already had trust issues, but you can't just sit behind a screen for these things.
You were the rude one. Breaking up over a text message and not even having the courage or decency to do it in person. You said your ex-gf was a really sweet girl, you're a fool if you think she was going to ever harm you. If you at least met up with her and broke up in person, things would've gone a lot smoother even though the break-up was still out of the blue.

I don't blame her. You paged her out of the blue, saying your relationship was over, and that having a girlfriend, isn't what it is cracked up to be. Sorry, but your question of why she went savage, was just answer. You didn't have a good reason to break up with her. I think she just wasted a good 4 months on you. She could have been with a better guy. I wish you had done this in person, and then she can slap you. After that, you can come crawling to us for help. This is one of the reasons I plan to stay single FOR LIFE! Guys just tend break a girls heart. It is not fair dude, it just isn't fair. 😐
What's with guys breaking up put of the blue for seemingly no reason. It pisses me off too. I don't do that, I give an actual explanation if I think things aren't working or talk about it first. Why can't you do the same. It's such a dick move.
