How do I help a little girl pee outside?

Going camping with my two younger cousins, both 5 and 7. Obviously they'll have to pee at some point.. how can i help them pee? What do I do?

Make an area to go pee when y'all get to camp site. Just explain to the kids how you squat to pee, act like you're going to sit but don't sit down and pee. Yes, when my 3 year old was 1 1/2 - 2 she would insist on peeing outside, we have no neighbors so I'd let her, but that's how I told her how to pee outside. And dig a hole to poop in, we made a pee area and a poop area when we go camping. Separate areas far but not too far from the camp.

Forgot to tell you to dig a hole, so they won't get pee on their shoes. If it's easier, hang sheets up around the trees and have a private area, that way if need be they can take their pants off. Sometimes it's easier that way.

I actually had a similar problem with my baby cousins haha. This is gonna sound silly but if it's too hard for them to squat, you can dig a little hole and it'll be like a makeshift toilet. Just sit em down over the hole etc etc you know the rest haha.

it'd be easier if they are wearing a skirt or dress. just squat with them while wearing a dress and act like you're doing it with them too so it isn't awkward

You could get a 'port-O-john' with female adapter!! Looks like a gascan, for gasoline, but has a banana-boat bike seat looking funnel thing that you straddle.

I don't think you really have to "help" them pee. They're both old enough to be potty trained, so they should know how to do it themselves.

Just walk them over to an appropriate spot, turn around, and walk them back when they're done.

First, they might be shy and that might make it difficult for them to pee. I know a few tricks. First have them hold their ands in containers of warm water. This is often enough. Second have them listen to running water. If you are near one have them listen to a brook or stream. Pour bottles of water into each other back and forth. You could also tickle them. There is a spot on the lower back that if tickled will relax a bladder in about half of the population. Give them plenty of water to drink.

We go camping very often too so we had the same topic with our kids.

The solution is so easy: Let them just sit on the ground and do their thing.
Our eldest kid found out that way for herself after she started preschool and nobody was there to help her to pee outside by lifting her up in the air in squat position.
She tried to squat but hit her pants and shoes everytime so she found out to pee (or #2 if necessary) outside by sitting with the bottom directly on the ground, doing her thing, getting up, wiping with leaves and that's it.
Later she showed it to her little siblings so all 3 kids do it this way until now. It's so easy and safe. Nothing gets wet and nobody is needed to help.
