Girl calling a guy pretty?

There are the common things that girls say to guys when they find them attractive. This girl just stared at me and I asked he what she was staring at and she said you are just so pretty. It seems like a negative for a girl to call a guy pretty.

I call my boyfriend pretty. When I hear someone call me that I feel pretty good and he seems to feel that way too. It's not something he hears often so it's always exciting to see his reaction

no its not negative just not something a lot of girls say to guys don't take it in a bad way cuz its a good thing some guys get called beautiful and its like okay just take it as a complement
