You do know that what Hollywood deems "attractive" isn't really attractive right? People become Popstars and mainstream because they let other people control them and sell them as a Product. Those sales people know how to convince everyone else that these people are the "IT" thing of the year (s). They can take anyone and make them look attractive and make everyone else believe they are attractive.
I don't find Justin Bieber attractive at all. You are right, he is too feminine looking for me. I'm more into manly, scruffiness. But everyone has their taste. I mean look, they made that ugly dude from the Weekend look so attractive he's dated Bella Hadid and now Selena Gomez. I don't care how famous/rich he is, or who he dated, I would not even touch the Weekend with a 10 foot pole. That guy is ugly as fuck and probably has a shitty personality. But I'm not easily fooled by what Hollywood/the Media deems as attractive.
So masculine men aren't really "losing" it's just what Hollywood is selling to us. Remember they make a shit load of money off these people.. it's their job to make them seem so amazing and sell them to as many people as possible. They are PRODUCTS.
So think for yourself and stop paying attention to the Media/Social Media. It's the same thing with the Kardashians/Jenners. I'm sorry but they're all not that attractive, but slap enough make up on them, maybe some plastic surgery, and you can make them attractive ENOUGH to sell to the general population who fall for it.46 Reply
Asker+1 yNoone from the mainstream media is attractive. Their profession choice is a huge turn off by itself. Mainstream media is cancerous
- +1 y
Exactly, but most people don't realize that. They think "this person is very popular, rich and famous, therefore this person MUST be attractive". What they don't realize is that some guy or girl that works for some really popular record label found this person that will do whatever they are told just to be rich and famous and they MAKE them attractive. That's how it really works..
Asker+1 yYep. Society at its finest. Explains the halo effect
Asker+1 yBetter to google it. Will explain it much better than me.

Because women are prettier than men, of course! ^_^
Actually, jokes aside, people have done reserach on this, and part of is is a cultural thing and part of it is some psychological response to the environment you're in.
There was a study not too long ago that concluded, interestingly, that there seemed to be a concretion between a country's health status and the types its female citizens find attractive. A number of women were showed pictures of men who had been digitally altered to appear more feminine or more masculine, and asked which they found more attractive. And the general gist was that women from countries with healthy populations preferred digitally "feminized" versions of a man's face, whereas women from countries with poor health chose digitally "masculinized" men.
It's a bit of a subconscious thing: Macho men with high testosterone levels are thought to be more robust -- perhaps when life is precarious, a man who is willing to cuddle is not a priority.52 Reply
Asker+1 yInteresting analysis. You're in the run in for top spot definitely.

That's pretty cool actually
I literally know no women who like those types. I know of lots of 12/13 year olds who do though. So unless you're looking for kids, I don't think it should be an issue for you.

Everyone has different preferences and kinks. Some girls are picky, some girls love it all and some are just in between.

+1 yI knows about many women who prefer masculine looking men and who isn't interested in feminine men, so it depends from person to person which preference they've. Feminine celebrity men like Justin Bieber and One Direction are meant for a younger audience like teenage girls between 13 - 17 years old. They've preference for more feminine looking and more youthful celebrities since they're younger. Many girls starts having preference for more masculine and mature looking men as they mature.
I knows there's a lot of people out there who finds Chris Hemsworth, Liam Hemsworth, Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder attractive. There's even people who finds Channing Tantum good looking and he's masculine. I thinks the two Hemsworth brothers I mentioned, Orlando Bloom and Aidan Turner looks good.
I thinks this guy looks good and I don't find him feminine:

+1 yPeople appreciate good facial features. I'd love to see how you look like though and even if you have the "right" to talk about this stuff. You're probably ugly IRL judging by how you're on anonymous talking shit.
Answer mine though I'm a 10/10 zac efron/brad pitt look alike with a jawline that could cut someone in half.15 Reply

+1 yThis used to bother me when I was a younger man. I think it has more to do with the individual guy, and less with the number of hair follicles on his chest, if you take my meaning. Some guys got it and some guys don't. Their level of masculinity only seems to play a random slot at best. Not all ladies want uber males, and certainly not all women want lady boys.
00 ReplyI read somewhere that presenting yourself as having qualities of the different sex, will attract that sex. Its a seductive quality that feeds on the inner self-absorption we all have, the need to see part of yourself in someone different from you, in this case the opposite sex. Same with guys and their attraction to 'gamer girls', or girls that know about sports, tom-boyish.

+1 ythe baby face. in the 1960s, you were Ideal if you had a baby face and, no facial hair. thus: feminine. I guess that thought never really went totally away

+1 yIt's little girls that have the hots for the little boys from what I've seen. Of course there's always that exception to the rule, but women that have matured beyond, what I will dub, the disney years, have crushes on guys like me.

Prince was a metreosexual and attractive.
Depends on the guy, really.20 Reply- 1.7K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic.
+1 yJustin Bieber and one direction are mostly marketed at teenage girls. So they're more cute than hot. Even their songs are cute and innocent, at first glance. If someone is marketed at slightly older women, they'd be more manly.

+1 yThey have square jawlines and cheekbones, so they don't really have feminine faces.

Asker+1 ySo? Doesn't make them less feminine.
- +1 y
It makes them handsome to a large group of women, which is all that matters.
Asker+1 yDoesn't answer my ny question
- +1 y
It means they don't have feminine faces, only feminine reputations, but girls find that romantic if the guy has a handsome face.
Asker+1 yYeah so all you need for a masculine face is a semi decent jawline. Great interpretation.
- +1 y
Pretty much yeah. You don't need to have bulging muscles, the same way a woman doesn't need DD boobs to attract men.
I am not fan of those.
I liked Zayn though. He was handsome.09 Reply
Asker+1 yHe's leaning more to a feminine look. Not masculine at all.
Asker+1 yI look similar to him because I'm arab. More masculine however.

This is how Zayn Malik looks like today. It's mostly his facial expressions that gives him a lesser masculine vibe. He isn't so feminine looking compared to the other 1D members or Justin Bieber. - +1 y
@adab_, but he doesn't look that feminine, or what do you think?
- +1 y
Zayn doesn't look chubby in my opinion. Men in my country is much rounder than that.
+1 yI just like the men who groom themselves. a little facial hair is fine but nothing that looks like a mountain man is attractive to me... I do like men who take care of themselves not let themselves go

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI'm attracted to feminine man more often, men without facial hair, or body hair, and more feminine facial structure, always been. I also like when they are not afraid to do something that is not "masculine", like painting the're nails.
