We don't talk as much anymore, and I'm worried about him?

we're in a long distance relationship and we've been together for about 4-5 months...his ex girlfriend just had a baby about a 5 weeks and for the last three weeks we have been very distant from each other. I mean, we text and stuff but majority of the time its only me making the effort and I understand that he's busy but a text takes 2 seconds...all I do is try to make it work and it doesn't seem like he wants to do this anymore, but when I do demand to know what he wants from me he'll tell me he loves me and wants to marry me and that he wants me and no one else...I'm kind of worried about him though, he is severely tight on money and he has the baby now and all he does it work I don't know what to do

Sure enough, he's evaluating what he needs to do. Whether he comes up with the answer or not, you'll find out within weeks.

A text takes 2 seconds, but maybe he's thinking hard of what he needs to say. Maybe he doesn't know what to say, but at the same time he doesn't want to mess anything up. I was once in a long distance relationship, and sometimes I wish that I took the time to think things clearly before I sent messages. Everyone behaves differently... when I'm stressed, I like to talk it out with someone. Your boyfriend might be the opposite, similar to most of my friends--they need time alone to work things out.

He's definitely having a rough time and needs your support. If he decides he still wants to be with you, then the best you can do is be supportive. If he decides to get back with his ex, then I hope you are ready to accept it.

Thats the thing I know he isn't going to get back together with his ex, we've talked about that, its very obvious she doesn't want to get back together with him either and that basically he's there to support his child...thank you very much for your answer :)

Have you ever met him? How far do you live from him?

Yes I've met him...about 1000 miles I'm in MA and he's in GA

He seems like confuse, because his mind is divided in multiple things, 1. you, 2.his job, 3, his baby, so you should talk him clearly, what he wants, and celarly expalin him you wants to build strong relationship.
