Why do girls suddenly notice me?

Basically I would say I'm average looking, and always got a little attention from girls. This year girls that I once thought were out of my league suddenly stop and wave or talk to me, ignoring friends I am with even if they know them too. Girls that once ignored me give me smiles. The only thing I changed really was not caring what others think of me, basically got more confident. Could just acting more confident draw attention from girls?

i would say confidence is one of the sexiest traits in a man, so yeah I think it could generally attract more attention.. it gives us girls a bit of a challenge of sorts, from my point of view anyway :)

Well I just finished high school and now it is the summer. When I see girls from high school they are doing it. I am also at the university a lot during the summer. These new girls at the university are giving me some attention too.
