If that is the case then you two wouldn't want the girl that may do that as a friend. Friends honor and respect the choice of the guy they claim they like. However, do that guy know both girls well enoigh regarding views, values, principals, morals, and beliefs? Do they share a common goal? What about views concerning sex? What about marriage, abortion, etc? You can't just go dating because your crushing due to looks or just personality alone. You may come to found out your not a great match. Overall, this should be talked about with ALL of you there in all honesty. That is my suggestion since I've been in that situation before. It almost got ugly. But it was bad enough I had no intention for dating in the first place. Don't hide from each other. Your supposed to be friends. Act like it, or get better friends, and find somebody worth dating.

This happened to me. She dated him first and I didn’t care, because I didn’t have a reason to be upset. They ended things a month or so later and he ended up telling me the next year he’d liked me since he had met me (at that point 3 years) and we’ve been dating since. I’m still friends with my girl (his ex) and she doesn’t mind.

She most probably will, happened to me once. Wasn't pretty. If they're friends get together, all three of you and talk it out, let her see that you love her friend and that she needs to look for someone else. Or even better, match her with one of your fiends that maybe (?) likes her.

Yes, she will purposely try to sabotage your relationship. She will then try to "be there for you" and give you a shoulder to cry on and try to make it happen with her.
