If she has had sex out of wedlock, or if she wears a skirt that's short enough to display her knees. I know others may disagree, but that's what I refer to as a slut. By the way, I prefer to date sluts. So slut is a good thing in my world.
(This one goes for both girls and guys.) If you are in a relationship but still sleeping with other people, being unfaithful basically. Or sleep with a person who already has a girlfriend/boyfriend (that the fuckgirl/fuckboy is aware of)
Nothing. A word that shouldn't exist in my opinion. I don't think anyone is. We all have different sexual desires and levels. I think that word gets tossed around WAY too freely!
A very negative label that no woman deserves. If you believe in bodily autonomy that every woman is entitled to, then it's her body, her choice. There's no such thing as sluts.

Being immoral, cheating, sleeping with men who is in relationships for the thrill though the blame is still on the man. Just being immoral and selling out to just anybody without having values or self love.
Check out the book The Ethical Slut. Amongst people in sex-positive/explicitly sexual communities, it’s simply the word for people that are unashamed of their sexual desires and behaviors.
If the girl ever had an abortion, even if she only slept with one person on one occasion, then she's a hardcore slut. Killing an unborn child is absolutely evil and the epitome of bad character. Cheating is another thing that qualifies a girl as a slut. And as always, having a lot of sexual partners is also on the list.
I'm not quite so judgmental. I'm a decent guy with occasional slit tendencies. Something I've often wondered about is when a guy is dating a girl its the best sex ever. When he breaks up with her she's a slut.
I've only ever called a woman a slut if she lies to her husband and sleeps aroud while he works and tries to care for their kids. She doesn't value being honest, being a parent or her marriage.

Her calling me a creep first.
Funny I was listening to Pandora today and a Schwayze song was playing. There is a lyric “and i prey on sluts”. Pandora CENSORED the word slut in the lyrics. Really? Feminist have managed to turn this into a hate word. But you will never ever get the word creep censored.
You do know it was probably Christian moma that wanted it censored. Feminists have being trying to reclaim the word slut since the 90s. Realise who is your actual enemy.
@lilaqua yeah and I grew up in the generation that said the word “f*g” all the time. But it wasn’t always an insult to homosexuals. But now it’s almost worse than saying the n word.
@weasley8 it’s okay (and sometimes justifiable) to label a certain behavior or action creepy. Men who catcall women are creeps.
But I’m talking about women (and sometimes guys ripping on other guys) labeling a guy a creep just because he’s socially awkward, doesn’t know how to approach women right, lonely, etc. it’s also the number one cop out women use to completely exonerate themselves for rudely treating a guy even if he never approached a the woman to begin with.
One of my gal pals told me she thought a guy was a creep ONLY because he was by himself at a club. I got in a conversation with him later and turns out he was visiting from out of town and he simply didn’t know anybody. He was bored being by himself and he decided to go out. Some guys do that and there is NOTHING wrong with it.
She had absolutely no fucking right to label him a “creep”. He wasn’t approaching anybody. He was just curious. I called her out on it privately later.
Case it point I can count the number of times I’ve heard a man call a woman a “slut” on one hand in the last 10 years. I’ve heard other women call each other sluts, but rarely guys.
But the word “creep” (yes I’ve been wrongly called that before) is an open season put down. Women use it all the time.
Okay. But saying that people use the word incorrectly is different from saying that the word itself is inherently a hate word. I use it to describe actual concerning behaviors.
For example, a guy once installed software on his computer to monitor my internet activity. He was a stalker, and I feel like the word creep can be appropriately used in this circumstance. Another appropriate use of the word the guy that tried to fight anyone who looked at me the wrong way, followed me around all day, and tried to tell me what I could and could not do, after knowing me for less than twenty four hours.
People use words incorrectly all the time, especially when they're trying to offend someone. It doesn't automatically make the word itself problematic.
@weasley8 in those two scenarios calling those guys creeps was completely justified.
But women use that word to offend someone and guys are defenseless for the most part. The word is often meant to reflect a woman’s “feelings” vs the hard facts of what the guy did. Although you don’t use it that way, many other women do and get away with it.
However a man calling a woman a slut is much, much more taboo nowadays. Chivalrous men will automatically defend her and the “sisterhood” will take her side if it was used inappropriately (or even appropriately). Even hinting a girl is slutty is very offensive.
There was a very pretty girl I was friends with benefits a year ago who happened to be a stripper. Sweet and hot she was, but given her career I didn’t fully trust her. I was surprised that she was very tight when we had sex the first time. I made a drunken comment “your tight” and meant it as a compliment. But she read between the lines and was really offended.
Also did that guy install software on your computer or his own? Confused on what happened. Sounds like he went beyond cyberstalking your social media (LOTS of people do that nowadays)

Nothing, I don't think that way and it isn't really part of my vocabulary.
Oh maybe if she cuts me off in traffic and I am pissed. lol

Being in relationships with multiple people cheating/ hurting them.
Nothing. A word that shouldn't exist in my opinion. I don't think anyone is. We all have different sexual desires and levels. I think that word gets tossed around WAY too freely!

In general being desparate.
Nothing. What people do in their free time is none of my business.

So basically we are all sluts?
@Klemen777 pretty much.
lol I love that most guys in the comments are saying the truth but girls acting like superiors and dislike everyone's opinion.
I've experienced girls being called sluts for just hanging out with a lot of guys. It's not really about sex I guess, that's at least what I think
I’ve seen that too. It’s about disliking what women are doing and trying to degrade and shame them for it
If she fucks my boyfriend otherwise I don’t use that word.
What? How many girls have fucked your bf? If your boyfriend fucks her he’s a slut and he cheated
when all she wants in life is anyone's dick and nothing else
if she is promiscious, has sex left and right, and doesn't value commitment or intimacy. That's kinda the definition of "slut" though..
It is okay if people judge you. That is their problem. Don't let people's judgement restrict you.
Respect yourself to be respected!

I am curious... Then what is your opinion on men who bail on their unborn child?

@lilaqua why would they want to “reclaim” a word they find so derogatory. Oh wait a minute it’s only okay if they call each other that. Yeah.
Where have we heard this before?
Ever heard of the word “queer”? Has a completely different usage today then it did 50 years ago.
@lilaqua yeah and I grew up in the generation that said the word “f*g” all the time. But it wasn’t always an insult to homosexuals. But now it’s almost worse than saying the n word.
What is your issue with the word creep? They're completely different issues. Also, a lot of creepy behaviors are actually harmful to others.

Nothing would make me call a girl a slut. That's a nasty word, and in my opinion belongs with other slurs like n***** and f***** and k***
