I mean guys really love feminine girls, so I would expect girls to love really masculine men, but a lot of the dudes girls seem to obsess over are so feminine looking, and I'm wondering why this is.
And no I'm not saying guys need to have a bunch of muscle to be considered manly, it's just weird to me why these are the types of guys that seem to receive most of the attention from girls when they look like girls themselves.
I would say that people just like people with contrasting characteristics. I am a girl, and sure, I like to do my nails, I wore a crown shaped ring (until I lost it this week *single tear* ), and I love cutesy girl stuff. I love art and music. My pencil case is literally full of cute sparkly teensy teensy cute stuff. But WOAH DAMN I love me some action! Cool cars, adventures, skateboarding, EDM, and I wouldn't say my style is all that girly girl. I think this is more attractive than just being a one sided person. Same goes for guys. Do I want a guy who is super fit, great bod, style and hair on point, cute smile, etc? Yes, I love alpha males. They be gettin all the chicks. But hey, it's nice to know that a super dominant alpha also has a sweet a caring side. And I guess, physical attributes do help with that. Girls are more emotionally expressive, so to appeal to a girl, there needs to be a level of perceived emotional vulnerability once in a while (sweet, caring, kind, gentle) instead of coming off as the macho dude who will never understand and care for her needs. You don't need to look feminine in order to be a sweet guy but When a guy looks "feminine" I don't know exactly what, but it gives the impression they will cuddle and hold the girl and be really sweet. I kinda don't wanna use this example but what the heck. Lucas definitely comes off as an alpha. Smoking weed, hooking up with girls, drinking, partying, etc. You get the idea. And yes, that in itself is pretty attractive to me. Not that I agree with his lifestyle but his social proof and confidence appeals to me in a weird way. But what makes him more attractive is that emotionally, he is not just an alpha too. He can be vulnerable and sweet, and he eyes actually slightly turn downwards (that's just his face) but it does give off the "puppy eyes, innocent, sweet, caring" vibe. So in a weird way, I have looked at his face and thought that it was feminine (just a little bit lol) but what balances it out and makes me see him as an alpha? Contrasts. His personality, his build, everything makes up for it. Especially the guy in the first picture, like woah damn. The impression I get from him is athletic, confident, sporty but also just a sweetheart. A guy that would be wild with his friends and come home to go out with his girl and cuddle and just be sweet. We all know who the guy in the second pic is, lol but I guess there must be something that makes tom masculine. to balance out his wee bit cute face lmao

I like feminine girls, but I wouldn't want an ultra feminine girl, so something between that and a tomboy is where my preference would be. A ton of people are saying that the guys in the pics aren't even feminine, they're just "very pretty". But I think that the "pretty boy" look is the least conventionally manly look a guy can have and thus it has to be feminine.

Well a lot of times men who are concerned with masculinity think that genuinely caring about things that aren't sports alcohol and pussy are "effeminate" and that's just not true. there's nothing wrong with going to the gym but taking mirror selfies while you're flexing and staring at yourself is just cringe.

From my experience, and the women I've been with, they like to feel weightless and protected. They want that guy who looks threatening to everyone else, but to protect her and only she gets to see that side. I'm pretty intimidating to most by appearance and it's only worked to my favor. Non-threatening guys might get more conversations, but I can promise you that there is more sexual attraction when it's reversed.

I can't speak for feminine women, but as a masculine woman, opposites attract and I'm attracted to feminine men. It's quite simple: men, why are you attracted to feminine women?
