Why do (some) women love nagging at their boyfriend?

Women! I love them.
But what I don't love about them is how some of them keep nagging to their boyfriend despite their boyfriend telling them the final answer to whatever it is, that they are nagging at him.
Nagging KILLS us slowlyyy!
It isn't so lethal as it may seem but it causes us great unrest to us and we are already stressing from work and life and (the lack of) finances.

So why do (some) women LOVE nagging at us? They may claim to love us but it's the same thing, that damages us. It's almost like that's the way (some) women recharge their vigor.

I’m really not clear on what nagging is supposed to represent. Some people seem to think discyssingsonethjjg is nagging. Like if you don’t just bow down to a person and remain mute, you are nagging.

Others think t is a fine if voice.

Others see it as someone holding someone accountable for something.

Others see someone trying to understand something says, as nagging.

I think there are so many interpretations and since women get accused of t- probably coming from a time when they were not expected to voice opinions- anytime a guy is annoyed she can say she’s nagging immediately gets support. But no one ash’s what it actually refers to.

I think in relationships where communication is open and respect is mutual.. nagging whatever the interpretation, whatever kind, for whatever reason, from whichever gender, would likely be kept to a minimum.

Interestingly complaints of nagging overwhelmingly come from friends men from women and children from parents.

Women and men communicate differently. When a woman decides she wants you to do something she "informs" you. But if it doesn't get done as soon as she wants then she "informs" you again. She is trying to communicate that this thing (whatever it is) is something she considers it important to get done. In her mind she is not "Nagging" but "reminding" you because she wants you to get that this is important to her. As guys, however, we interpret this as nagging and bossiness and it tends to have to opposite effect since we don't want to feel "pussywhipped" or appear that way to our friends. That's why nagging is counterproductive and ignoring nagging is also counterproductive. It's about insignificant stuff like when I'm lying at the couch at noon, that i should get a blanket. Or when it's hot in summer that i should strip myself half naked when I'm not comfortable doing that.

And the thing is that i have told her beforehand, that these are my preferences.

That is part of the issue. Just because you don't want to do something, doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. Taking essentially pointless stands, disregarding their beliefs or ideas or just messing up without listening and adjusting, is the cause of a lot of nagging. That is the nagees fault, not the naggers. I can understand pointless nagging being an issue, but this is not one of those.

Well your mother is kind of a different story I’m afraid, I was thinking more in the romantic relationship aspect. As far as the marriage and children argument one or both of you need help in communication skills to really absolve the issue. You answered no to these things, a definitive no should always be respected from anyone but I wonder if the situation could be put to an end by explaining your reasoning behind your no? Women in serious relationships that demand those things tend to be adults and would simply like to know you’re reasoning so she can decide where to go from there. Continue to get to know you or move on and find another relationship with someone who has the same end goal, unfortunately if you have trouble communicating with that particular woman and she has trouble speaking in such a way that you can understand and actively participate in the discussion then you’ve been engaging in toxic relationships until now

Well I gave you some examples but they were not relationship specific. I've had only one girlfriend and while she didn't nag, she would do without me.

There is a stereotype out there, that women might not like how busy their man always is and is occupied with work and studies and comes home just to eat, shower and sleep. Maybe 30-60 minutes of watching TV at most for example.
Their nagging about how they're always so busy or unavailable isn't going to change that. If anything it adds more stress and tires us men.
