Lmao we’ll seriously get back to that debate once men give birth to children & were the oppressed sex in virtually all parts of the world since time immemorial, okay? Cool.
If males gave birth (not just a few other species in the animal kingdom), women would have much less value in life. With the oppression comes the ability to keep the species alive. I think it's a fair trade off. You (females) have a lot more power than they realise. It just isn't exercised to it's full potential. With great power comes great possibilities, you just have to know how to use it.

Next time a woman complains about the wage gap, I'll tell her that we can continue the discussion when women die on the job as often as men do, and when women were the workhorse since time immemorial, and until then she has no right to comment on such things since men have it much worse in this area of life and as a result get benefits to them (women have it worse in childbirth and raising since they get a majority of the responsibility, men have it worse in work since they get a majority of the responsibilities).

You're ridiculous, in my country (canada) there is nothing excluding women from working the dangerous jobs, they can train into any field and even join the military if they want. Dying and getting injured on the job is an advantage? Never seeing your family because you work so much overtime is an advantage? Having your entire worth as a human being tied to your earning potential is an advantage? (Alright, that last one can be an advantage if you make a lot of money, since you become worth more than most people). bullshit. You can't just call anything an advantage or disadvantage just because you want to.
Am I blaming women for this? I wouldn't say blaming women, but certainly not giving them a free pass, both men and women played a part in creating the society we have today. Most western women want to work less and then just marry a man who makes enough to balance it out. Meaning that a man who wants to get married (on average) needs to make more than the average woman, meaning he needs to either work a more dangerous job or get higher education. Men die far more often in the workplace, as well as being drafted into war far more often than women. Their responsibility to society is much more, and it is not created solely by men as you attempt to imply. Womens desires and actions contribute to this as much as mens, not long ago there was upset in the usa about women potentially getting drafted into the army, women protested and it never got passed, but men will never be free from the draft, obviously this is just because men want the heroic experience of being the only gender to die on the battlefield (sarcasm).
All that said, I was just displaying that it upsets me that people like you refuse to debate equality because women in the past were oppressed. "Women have been oppressed so mens opinions of what goes on today mean nothing". Women like you try to oppress men while shouting about womens oppression, your original response to the question emphasizes this, where you literally said to oppress men (by refusing to debate with them and give them avenues to change the way society views and treats them, you implement unjust treatment/control, making it oppression by definition) until they change reality so they are women (they can give birth and were oppressed since time immemorial).

Probably the biggest reason for the divide in sexuality is that women are taught from day one that they should avoid being sexual as much as possible or they'll be seen as cheap whores, sluts and hussies. On the other hand, men are quite often cheered on by other guys, including male parental units, to BE as sexual as possible!! Partly, that's BECAUSE women are taught to make it nearly impossible for a guy to get a girl!! As it IS so hard for a guy, when one finally DOES get some attraction, it's seen as a goal that he's scored! so, other guys that also want to score that same goal do what THEY can to score and that turns most of us into perverts in a woman's eyes! But, to be perfectly honest, you girls want sex, love and companionship just as much as we do! Maybe even more, in some cases.

Statistically the high male suicide rate says it all. Men don't get there biological needs met unlike women do because society and the government takes care of the women as priority. The West is very gynocentric.
I do believe that men aren’t usually “taken care of” but I don’t think the suicide rate is a good measure. many more women attempt suicide than men but men prefer more lethal methods (guns), which is why they are usually succeed in suicide. :/ men struggle in a different way than women but in my opinion it’s about equal.
Of course the "attempted" suicide rate is higher in women since when men try to kill themselves they actually mean it so they actually die.

I have met a lot of women who suffer as a single mother, addicted to drugs, and abused relationship.
That’s not a gender thing tho. Single dads , addicts abusive ex. It’s just that men aren’t as well sympathied as women in these situations because of the social meta currently. We both have advantages that trump the other sex. But over all, women are the advantaged due to the fact that feminism corrected gendered issues, but it overcorrected. Look at Johnny Depp he was accused of domestic violence and had his name smeared and dragged through the mud with little evidence yet he had to provide a mountain of evidence to clear his name and even then the people accusing him are fucking silent because society cares about women more.

What does that tell you? Women seek attention and cry out for help with very ineffective methods while mens lives suck so much that we take more steps to make sure our lives actually fucking end.

Personally I thought the difference in suicide was because women wanted attention and support but men felt like they would be shamed for attempting suicide, so they try harder to succeed out of fesr that failure will bring shame. At the very least that was my experience with suicide, I always told myself that if I attempted it then I had to make sure I succeeded, I'd hate to wake up and realize that I'm such a failure that I couldn't even succeed at something like suicide. I was legitimately terrified of surviving and being called weak for not pushing the knife deeper into my wrist, or tying the noose tighter.
I was more afraid of the shame than the thought of death too. Living with the shame of being a failure is more painful than the feeling of nothingness, I am certain of this.
Also, to debunk your comment, australia has banned guns yet the suicide in 2017 was 75% male, so clearly access to guns is not the difference.
Check actual statstics and facts before you make claims like that, or at least do what I did and say that it's your opinion, not a fact. You can't just claim things like that as fact.

Further, this is very fucked up that you are trying to rationalize men dying to suicide more often by saying that women are more often the survivors. It's like me saying that men are more likely to survive being assaulted and therefore they have it worse. Women survive suicide more often, how does that mean women have it worse? I would think that would mean they have it better since they have a higher chance of surviving longer and getting past the depression/whatever is making them suicidal.

As if the number of survivors can ever equal the amount of sadness of all the buried sons and fathers who took their own life. Men die at an astonishing rate every year, and suicide plays a huge role in that. It's okay though, I'm sure you think murder and attempted murder are equal, what is the difference between a survivor and a victim, after all?

As I said about my suicide attempt, I felt like I had to go to hanging myself because it was more certain than the other methods I had available, though I've thought about slitting my wrists too. I've always had access to enough pills to kill myself, when I was suicidal, I knew where my grandfathers pills were, I could have tried that way but like I said, I wanted to make sure I succeeded, because I was scared of what people would think if not only they knew I attempted suicide, but failed. by the way, I've never been on antidepressants, mostly because I've been too ashamed to seek help at the times when I needed it and no one else asked if I needed a therapist or tried to get me one. I've only had 2 therapist appointments despite years of being depressed and suicidal. Even then those appointments were specifically over a case of molestation when I was 8, so not related to me being depressed and suicidal. I know I'm not an example of all men, but let's be real, men deserve better mental health treatment, we too often ignore men and think they will be tough enough to make it through their problems.
