It happens as a result of evolving beauty standards and a culture which revolves around aesthetics, beauty and body.

I would say this kind of obsession is far more creative than destructive envy and shame.
The if you got it flaunt it philosophy is optimistic actually.
It’s hard to delineate where obsession intertwined with Narcissistic personality traits and it’s associated spectrum NBPD.
However it’s a thin line to walk. Yet I maintain my view in support of girls who pay detailed attention to themselves.

Romance is not easy nor is the quest for human companionship. If either gender entertains each other based on looks, these girls are just working on their chances and lessening their prospects for rejection.

It maybe a transient attraction but it still gives them a foot in the door of their career prospects equally.

That's really interesting... so you think that a big part of women's drive to look good is actually driven by a desire to be successful and a desire for companionship. Does the desire for security also play a role? I. e. do women still look to men to provide this or is this no longer the case in modern society?

It might be a fine admixture of all these considerations. Life has many dimensions and women in the context of your question have a variety of personalities.

It goes without saying those who pay attention to themselves is akin to putting the

“Double the toil and Double the trouble make the Cauldron boil and simmer”. Shakespeares’ Macbeth. That’s only one part of its representative meaning.

So yes it’s a myriad of goals because we live in a cosmopolitan society and self care is akin to self prayer and a display of ‘paying detail to attention’ on one’s’ cv.

@Kit_Kat88 I've been devoted to my image forever. I ended up going to school amd got a degree in nutrition, and certified pt and later got a liscense in aesthetics. I wanted to be knowledgable in like full beauty spectrum. I eat extremly clean and and only have one cheat day. I workout everyday.

Depends on your definition of "self-obsessed". I'm assuming you mean stuck up and selfish in this case. Correct me if I'm wrong. Going with that definition, I would say about 70% are. The other 30% do not know how hot they are.

Nah, I know a bunch of pretty girls that are actually very shy.
The girls with the ugly faces but hot bodies tend to be the attention seeking, stuck up ones in my experience.
